New to the Curse and really having problems getting the thing to fit. Without the bonus of guns and turrets I thought it would be better to keep all high slots to drain and reduce cap of any enemy and just let the drones chew them up. Am I going about it the wrong way?

Ill be using it in WH space for defense most of the time vs anyone who might come through. I might have support or be solo. Has anyone else used it for the same and have a good fit I might try?

Cheers!

When you are solo the Pilgrim is the prefered choice.

Curse is better if you're not alone.

Total neut fit the common choice indeed, so you're on the right track there.

Keep in mind that if your using Neuts and Nos in EFT, you will not get reliable cap stability info because of how Nos works. It will only drain cap if you have a lower cap percentage than your target - which probably isn't going to happen if your properly neuting the hell out of your target. :)

If you are in a home WH a solo Curse is fine. It is fully cappable of taking out BC and lower hulls. My typical PvP Curse fitting for small fights is as follows (roughly and I am not posting on my PvP Char)

3x HML's
2x Neuts

1x MWD
1x Disruptor
1x Medium Cap Booster - 800's
1x Scripted TD
1x LSE
1x Invul

For the lows you have some choices, anything from 4x PDS's to increase your shield and cap, ot a mix of nano's for speed, basicalyl whatever you feel is a good combo.

Drones typically are:
5x Hammer II's
5x Vespa ECM
5x Warrior II
5x Hobgob II

For Gang work you will want Nuets up top, perhaps two TD's in the mids, and keep at range as best you can. Curses will get hit hard if they get too close. If you are fitting Neuts and NOS do NOT NoS the same target. Use it to work on the next target, when you switch your neuts, move the NOS. It is also a good idea to fit some form of ECCM. Curses are popular targets for ECM drones and Falcons if they should have any.

Nos + Neut is however quite effective at dealing with ships whose tanks rely on cap injectors, as their cap level will be higher than yours until they panic-burn through all their cap charges.
