I know it's a little bit soft of me but when I kill a miner and strip miner I's drop, I can't help but imagine I just killed a delicate player who may or may not now be crying about his loss.

I don't mean 'lol' epic tears' either, I mean I genuinely feel like I did a bad thing to a nice person.

Cry

Also shitfits make me feel like I just killed someone with down syndrome.

You're not being a bad person. Imagine yourself as a teacher. If you get them again then you can feel bad...or maybe call them ********.

On the contrary.
This makes it even funnier that they died anyway.

When you pop a ship with just about faction mods everywhere... and only cargo items, weapons and ammo drops.

After killing one guy several times in exactly the same situation (mining) during a wardec I started to feel bad as he was clearly not going to learn and just stopped killing him in the end Oops

As for mods that make me sad when they drop, got to be hull repairers. If they're being used in an actual pvp fit you can assume they've not been around too long.

A single PLEX in cargo.

You know that guy simply wasn't aware that you can add game time at any point and was waiting for his last day to make sure he got the full 30 days from his new licence.

When you watch a Rokh sitting in a POS repping it's armour and running hardeners, and then realising it's warping back to the site without a refit....

It was hard to tell what was on the ship and what might have been random detritus in his hold before we read the mail.

I always feel bad when I kill someone and he turns out to be a newbie. I just send him some isk or some extra ships\mods I have lying around. Oops

This fit:

That guy got involved while we were messing with some WTs who ran to Uitra to try and get us banned for fighting in a rookie system. I thought he was one of their alts at the time (you had to be there).

After I saw the killmail, I gave him a million isk and an eve-mail with some suggestions on a better fit. He didn't learn his lesson:
