Got my Vita yesterday and was looking through the list of devs for it. CCP was listed. This leads me to believe DUST is being co-developed for Vita compatibility, probably via CrossPlay. Can anyone confirm this? Awesome if so!

As far as the blogs are pointing to, not a direct port but something like skill queue manager, war room commanding, social apps to eve gate, prewar gear fitting and market for dust 514s likely. However they think that the game play is not off the shelf yet either.

until we get more blogs we dont know what else is going to happen to it.

or how much more annoying Girderis annoys them with his daily poking on all of dust 514's various outlets.

Dust 514's CPM 1 Iron Wolf Saber Eve mail me about Dust 514 issues.

I actually told you my source today.

My information isnt something I found on my own its presented to me by various locations and output and best guesses.

For example I have no idea if we are getting tech 3, launcher turrets or new slew of other modules. It would seriously shock me if we get all three for inferno as per email sent out for fanfest summary. Well find out in 4 weeks now would we?

Beta is likely not going to start until after fan fest, the dust514 tournament there is likely going to be a kick off event so to say.

Dust 514's CPM 1 Iron Wolf Saber Eve mail me about Dust 514 issues.

Ahem. It's Grideris not Girderis.

And what you said is correct. At this stage, is seems like the PS Vita is going to have out-of-match management tools.

last time I checked there was a statement that said the "asynchronous" part of DUST game play would be accessible by VITA. I don't know what the hell that means, but there you go.

I've not looked into the Vita things due to a total lack of care but from the advertising I thought it was just a way to stream a game from your PS3 to your PSP.... like the onlive thingy

In which case it'd be pretty shocking if "some games didn't work"

or am I totally off the mark on what a vita is?

So long as they don't do something stupid like tie it into the GPS or some crap like that. I am getting the WiFi only version. No reason to pay an extra $50 for GPS I don't need and access through AT&T I don't want.

Bounties for all! https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2279821#post2279821

You're kinda off the mark. PS Vita is a proper portable gaming device in it's own right, with it's own games independent from the PS3. It's just you can remote play some PS1 and PSN games from your PS3 on your Vita
