WH dividing isk payment for the gang

hey all, just curious i've seen a couple google docs etc where you put people names down and it divides the payment. i cant now seem to find this link anymore or anything on wiki. anyone have the link or something they use?

All the sites have a fixed tag value. Keep record per site who and howmany ppl total ran it and its tag value.
Salvage, datacores etc, pile it up and sell it once a month.

Add up the "how many ppl" (= participation points)and devide the total revenue (minus running costs such as pos feul etc) by this number. you shuold get an isk amount per participation point. All you do than is count howmany times a char ran a site and times that with the value of a participation point.

This way you dont have to bother keeping track of the random revenue of say a magnetometric site. Too much ballache.

Easiest way to calculate and divide profits is send me all the ISK and a list of names and I'll definitely do it for you.

It's called a spreadsheet and takes about 15 minutes to setup if you want it to pull values from eve-central. Takes about 10 minutes if you don't want it to do that.

Oh BTW, take loot. Put loot in can. Name can for people in fleet. Go to Jita with can. Take loot out of can. Sell loot. Divide proceeds by number of people in the fleet. Send isk to each person in fleet.

thats fine but if pilot a and b do sites 123 and pilot c comes in on site 4 you dont wana pay him a share of the isk for all the sites

Clearly most of you have never actually been in a wormhole, or dealt with this.


Open book keeping is the key. Don't just record "5,345,000 ISK", record the drops and everything else too.

Did you setup a POS in the WH for that week? If so how is the cost amortized out? Keep a google doc that lists the income and expense and breaks it down for people. The key is to be open, if people think someone is skimming off the top it will turn nasty in a hurry.

On a more serious note, ive been doing payouts for my corp along with 1 other guy for a while now.
Method we use is just chuck all the loot from an op in a can and put the names of the participants in the can name.
Then it's even split minus corp tax of whatever it sells for to each person in the name.

if a person joins half way, start a new can.

Can per fleet. So that's a new can if things change.
Date & time/count goes in can name.
Mailing list sent mail with fleetmembers for can. <- people ensure they're on the list/mail, accounting for alts as you wish.
Directors/trusted people have can & keep it safe, take can to Jita, split profit according to mailing list. The Give Money reason can reference the can name.
Sometimes a rich corp dude might buy the can in the hole at current market prices and pay you all out immediately.
