Fast Track for S.O.E. Standings?

The 4 main Factions all have COSMOS Agents that can provide quick standings boosts, but so far I have only found a mere handfull of SOE COSMOS Agents, and their Mission and Storyline Agents are well scattered throughout New Eden. I have hit a bottleneck trying to get access from L2 up to my goal of L4 Agents. Has anybody found a way around having to relocate (for me 25 jumps) to the only L3 SOE Mission Agent in all of New Eden? Running missions in Lowsec is not an option... (let the pirates cry all they want, they made that mess themselves!)

lots of missions for another high sec faction (Gallente certainly) will get you derived standings, not as quick but does work

My SOE standing is presently almost +6. The biggest help besides Cosmos has been derived standing from Min/Gal gains, especially their Cosmos. I wasn't even trying to raise SOE standings either.

Don't know if that can help you... SOE agent location doesn't make any sense. The only hi-sec level 4 SOE agent is in Caldari space (WHAT THE ****).

Rant mode:

The sole hi sec SOE agent is in Caldari space. SOE is supposed to be all nice nice with Min/Gal, yet if you've barred yourself from Caldari space by, you know, running missions and stuff for their allies, well, fucka you dolphin, fucka you whale, no level 4 hi sec SOE missions for you.

I wish they'd just get rid of that one hi sec agent.

But maybe there's another faction with a lone level 4 hi sec agent in Gallente space (with most of their 1-3 agents in Caldari/Amarr space so it evens out). Heck, they might even have LP gear that mimics the value of SOE probing toys.

Yea, I'm very aware of that L4 S.O.E. Agent in Caldari Space. My Corp has me running Salvage Contracts out of that Station in Osmon. It's the reason I started looking into L4 standings with SOE, it would give me another L4 Agent option. Strangely, it is in Caldari space, and after running both the Amaar and Caldari COSMOS my standings with SOE and the Galente Faction is quite low.

Even prior to the SOE-agent nerf, when there was a great lvl4 in Gicodel and a nice lvl3 not far away in Arnon, SOE mission running involved a fair bit of travelling around if you chose to limit your scope to hisec.

My SOE progression was epic arc => Rens / Erindur (lvl1&2) => Arnon (lvl3) => Gicodel (lvl4) => X-7OMU area. I guess if I was doing this today I'd be replacing Gicodel with Osmon.

There are also scattered cosmos agents that give you pretty decent boosts, and there is derived standings from your other friendly-to-SOE mission running. The SSOE NPC-null home region is pure blind and has a good collection of agents that are not too widely spread. The main hassle in PB is the hisec-nullsec transition system on the shortest route, so it's often well worth taking longer routes via other entry points.

Of course if you don't want to travel a little you can stick with lvl2s until you get up to lvl4s ... but IMO it's well worth the travel time to get to an agent or two the next step up the ladder.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

in Incursions the OverWelmed Civilian Facility site give you SOE standings bonuses...ya need to be part of a 15-20 member fleet don't try it solo

Easiest way to bypass relocation would be to join a corp that has the standings and run the l4's in Osmon until you have the standings on your own.

I happen to have a one-man corp with 8.37 SOE faction standings, so unless you have completely terrible faction standings with them, it should be enough to provide you with access to Lozdod Pousel or at least give you a a couple of days to grind them up until you personal standings have fully kicked in (unless corp standing calculation hasn't changed during the last years).

I would just raise corp taxes as a means to get paid for my service.

In case you don't want to leave your current corp, I could hook you up with a 6 week old NPC corp newb alt of mine that has access to the missions but can't run them - so I could accept them and fleet warp you into the missions, dock up and then share the rewards (and standings) at completion.
In that case I'd just take half the LP and isk reward - but of course it depends on your time zone and on how fast you can complete the mission (If you creep through the mssions in a DRAEK and salvage them afterwards, I'm likely to be less interested than if you blitz them in a proper ship).
