[video] BOMBING RUN in M-O How I perform a bomb run SOLO dot dot dot

Late Friday night to nearly Saturday morning, I sat cloaked in M-O for nearly 2 hours waiting for a decent gate camp to form. I don't remember this solar system being this inactive on a weekend night, but to be totally honest, I haven't been in the northern null regions in over a year. The landscape has definitely changed.

I had a decent book nearby so I wasn't all that bored while waiting. Solo bombing isn't always the most exciting activity in eve. Especially since you must pick you targets carefully so as not to explode instantaneously.

7 confirmed kill mails later and I log off viewing the bomb run as a success.

Wow... i guess.
Solo in a Bomber camping stuff, hardcore. One of the most easiest things to do since all you need to have is patience and tbh, it was mostly whoring on mails. Nothing really to brag about.

Response might have positivley changed if you would advertise this video as a tutorial.

You're right.
I didn't realize I came off to you as bragging about the kills. Sorry for the confusion. I was sharing my bombing run experience from that night.
I make videos about what I'm doing in-game and about whatever I find to be interesting in eveo. It's a fun hobby Smile
btw, the video title had the words "How I perform a bomb run". If that isn't a tutorial type video then...........yeah..........

Also, I didn't realize the video was viewed negatively. That's news to me.

Well, you are highlighting "BOMBING RUN" and "SOLO" which looks like bragging to me, if you mean it like that or not.

Well, "how i perform a bombing run" can look like "this is how i roll" which again can look like bragging.


And in my opinion, you should rather tell the people how bombers are really used and that they are mostly gang ships, either support or bombing fleets and not sitting solo on a hostile gatecamp. I've seen a lot of people like this dropping bombs at everything looking pretty funny. Sometimes i would wish the loss you have with the bombs would be calculated aswell.

But well, this is my opinion and i dont want to tell someone how to fly ships, there are more fun ships to take out gatecamps or make quick kills than just to rely on luck if there is a frig with a running MWD.


Let me explain you why i dislike the video, apart from the [Tutorial] thing and the bragging:
Its just nothing special, no single interesting scene in it, to do solo bombing runs is even one of the most stupid things one could do since its chances to successfully nuke someone is pretty small. I dont count whoring on mails as a success since all you have to do it do get aggro on someone and until he changes the system you keep on being on his loss.

You should plan your warp-out point a little better beforehand. Warping through your own bomb is not a good idea for obvious reasons..

You guys are dicks, I did very much enjoy the video, it's ******** that the expectations you guys have for eve videos are hardcore 1:5 odds with disturbed music on, obviously the people who watched it through youtube enjoyed it, and I think he has a great voice for it, the type of replies you guys are giving is deterring people from wanting to make movies, I'm sure he'll keep doing them but I wouldn't be surprised if he would stop posting them on this forum because of your ******** feedbacks

Oh wow, I never checked this video out before. Don't know why. I think the long thread title put me off :P

That was really cool. Back when I was a newbie flying around in my t1 fit rifter killing ratters, I used to dream of one day flying a solo bomber in null sec, acting like a space ninja. My tastes in pvp have changed since then and its no longer really an ambition, but it's awesome to see somebody doing this sort of stuff successfully. And the style of the vid with the narration was a really nice change from the usual music + footage combo.

Keep making more!
