FOR THE LOVE OF GOD fix the invisible station bumpy bits

Just think of it as Scotty the Docking Manager's legacy.

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

How can there even BE bits you cant see, i really cant understand how this model works with your ship in space its illogical cpt. !

Then perhaps you should understand how entities are rendered in a game instead....might help. But, I'll agree in principle since their "bits" are way too bog.

It's not really bits of station — it's a maintenance crew on an EVA trip to bolt some radiation plating back into place. They even put up traffic cones to highlight the work area, and while you might not see it (or care if you run some poor hapless normal people over… bloody amoral capsuleers), your autopilot's collision detection system does and tries to avoid them.

Believe it has something to do with polys on the model.

Im quite accustomed to Unreal Ed for the past 10 years since UT2001 and even though I know eve is not built this way it must have the same basic principal? Polys can cause quite alot of issues which can properly frustrate.

Maybe you should have a bit more experience on more stations.

I know quite well about polys and models etc and i can tell you now some of these stations are so completly out from anything thatmakes any sense its due to the bump areas not being anywhere near the station graphic its not funny.

If every stations has a inpenetrable bubble round it a just a few km below dock range then no problem, or a practical map of the graphic model with the bump model (ideal) or whatever else crazy thing they came up with.

Its terrible now its always beeen terrbile and it effects everyone, i cant believe this isnt fixed!!!!

Uniform or exact bumpable zones please.

Some zones bump you, some slow you down massivly some make you bounce every which way - theres no conformaty!!!!
