Just a quick question all you fellow mission grinders.

Has ECCM in missions now been fixed?

E.g is it actually worth fitting now when shooting caldari mission rats?

Cheers in advance.

Yes, ECCM works in missions. Fitting the correct ones will lower the chance that Guristas will jam you.

Edit: Patch note link for your reading pleasure, see: "All NPCs that use jamming have been streamlined in functionality and you can now fit your ship to counteract them."

KK tyvm for taking the time to reply to me.

I did try asking in game in various places such as the help channel but no-one seemed to have any idea what so ever.

Added a link where CCP officially says it is so :) Also remember the ECCM type you fit to your ship must be the same as [b]your[/i] ship's sensor strength, not the ships jamming you. Good luck!

Liked and Stalked.

Also, just to add, if you are really not wanting to give up a mid slot for ECCM or a low slot for a sensor backup array, you can also increase your sensor strength with a information warfare link sensor integrity, so long as you are in a valid fleet and the fleet booster is set properly. Also you can use the FW racial implants (i.e. Grail, Talon, etc) to increase the sensor strength on your ship, however if you have a talon set for example, it won't help an apoc, you would need a grail set, so you have to stick with one race, whereas the warfare links work with any, there is also multi sensor versions of the mid and low slot ECCM, however unless you really cannot afford to buy specific ones for the ships you will be flying it is a bit pointless.
