A pilot with skillpoints tends to sell the best.

Seriously though, no one is going to tell you the character/item/mod/ship that sells the best... because it will destroy any profit margin by doing so and invalidate the answer.

For example: I say characters that can only fly hulks sell the best. A months later after a few hundred people read this statement, the character market is flooded with hulk pilots and now hulk pilots are really hard to sell.

How so?

For example, will Matar BS to 5 and appropriate T2 large projectile turrets sell better than Amarr BS to 5 with appropriate large energy turret to 5?

Or I'll be better skilling a logi?

right now the best thing is minmatar ship skills, with good gunnery. a min bs pilot with good supporting skills will sell for way more than my pimped out carrier pilot. Basically, If you can get your pilot to be a capable VARGUR pilot, he will sell for about 10 bil. My maxed out carrier pilot will only sell for about 7 right now, and it has way more intensive skill plan.

Yes, I complain about things I don't like.

Thanks for an advice! Will the name that starts with A letter be a problem? I know some don't like them because they can get primaried sooner, but I suppose that wont affect the sale?

I'm doing the same thing and so have been reading the forums a lot.

They're right above in that you need to pick something specific - like your guy does THIS. Avoid trying capital stuff* (unless you have a 1-year plan), don't waste skill on unrelated stuff (people don't want expensive clones) and try to keep a remap for them.

*Lot's of people want jump freighter pilots. But I don't know how long that takes.

Its no magic to it, its a simple thing, focus your pilot in one thing, as close to zero wasted SP on other things.

That will say if you train a Leadership pilot or a carrier pilot don't train them to fly exhumers aswell. When people buy chars they most often want specialized ones.
