Warp tunnel made optional extra again? Or yet again an old bug reintroduced?

Hello,

Several times today while warping around I had no warp tunnel effect this had been working fine until recently. Is anyone else having this issue?

Screenshots needed (sent so many with bug reports though recently don't want to become an annoyance)?
