You keep leaving out the fact that CPR has shield boost penalty whereas CFC doesn't.

The penalty is stacking penalized, the cap recharge isn't.

FYI, one T2 SBA practically nullifies the shield boost penalty from multiple CPR's, if I'm not mistaken.

There seems to be a finite zone whereby things like small shield boosters particularly Gist benefit from the flux coil otherwise they would have supreme ability to tank with larger modules using the capacitor power relay the idea being that stability with the shield booster module is better with smaller counterparts and the larger modules require cap boosters this must be a trade off for the low slots which are left bare for damage modules on say a x-large shield booster than a rack of shield power relays or power diagnostic systems which make the smaller counter parts more cap sufficient.

My view anyway.

Yes you can counter the shield boost penalty of cpr by using sba or going for larger size booster etc. But the point is there is no point in using cpr if you can already get cap stable with cfc. On my phone so no eft, but before the neut changes i used to run C3 wh in my sleipnir with one or two cfc to keep it stable. It wont be stable with pds and cpr would have brought down tank numbers, so cfc was the best choice in this case

I've never seen a use for Flux Coils, CPRs are fairly useful, particularly for Shield Capitals, but flux coils are somewhat useless mostly I find.
