I'm a Guardian -- ISTJ.

I like making ISK through spaceship combat. I've been a -10 pirate taking stuff by force and then selling it, and I've been a carebear killing NPCs. My most recent endeavors involve making ISK hand over fist by killing Sansha. I also like accumulating a pile of shinies to look at, though most of the time I end up buying the shinies, fitting them up, saying to myself "cool I have that" for a while, and then repackaging the shinies and selling them.

Market PvP sucks the big one. It simply takes too long, and there are too many 0.01-ISKers out there. I usually end up selling way under value just so I get rid of it quickly.

When I finally do make an impact on this universe, it will reverberate across the entirety of it, and no one will be able to truthfully claim they don't know me. - -

Until then, I'll just sit quietly over here, minding my own business...

Ha awesome. I'm INTJ as well (89/50/1/33)

So with Thinking as 1... that means that I don't think much? Hahaha. How about I don't overthink things.

At any rate, Likes: small gang PVP and getting rich quickly.
Dislikes: Drama, stupid people, a lot of leadership crap.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Most of my Isk is made thru ratting/plexing. Though I also make/buy/sell characters.

I think I've been taking this silly test at least once every couple of years for the last 15 years or so, maybe more (whenever I see it linked on the internet). Started out consistently INTJ, but for quite some years now I've been solidly INFJ.

I will say that in EVE I am far more introverted, and far less helpful than I am IRL. Big smile

I actually took this test a few months ago just for lulz (not related to eve) and wasnt expecting it to be accurate since I'm pretty skeptic about all kinds of tests on teh interwebs... to my surprise the result fit me fairly well.

INTP

For the past year (?) I've been doing mostly solo pvp and a few months ago went -10.0 after I got bored of the blob mentality in FW and decided it was time to find targets outside of FW. I enjoy hunting for targets and I enjoy a good fight even if losing does sometimes make me feel frustrated (especially when I lose because of ECM).
currently not very active ingame though, too much eve last month.

What do I hate doing? Sitting in organised fleets with FC's and just generally following orders when I can make my own decisions. I hate doing missions and making money that way. Missions are like a job you go to just because you need the money while you actually hate the job itself.

Woo! Hello, fellow INTP minority. We don't follow rules very well. We make our own.

Heh, pretty much, this is why EVE is such a great game in my opinion, you *can* have great fun just doing your own thing your own way Big smile I don't even like to make my own rules, or stick to plans. I just do things until I feel like I have a good handle on them and then drop them until whenever, without ever being really really good at anything because idgaf about min-maxing, and I don't feel like a scrub who can't play on the same field as the l33t people.

Also, if you're not on edge between the [IE], [NS], [FT], [PJ] categories, the type descriptions are pretty disgustingly accurate. I was quite amazed by that.

Like: To go out on PvP roams, forum posting, and the occasional mining session, and generally make my money from missions as they are quite efficient. (Which is what my personality type likes)

Dislikes: WH's, trading in stations, hauling, and suicide ganks.

This was very interesting - i was quite skeptical about this sorta thing but it matches me quite well heh.

Likes: PvPing - mostly support roles, incursions (Again logistics), Mission running (rarely nowdays), W-Space ops. I pretty much like anything combat based without too much hassle to start it,

although im mostly docked doing stuff behind the sences at the moment, which i dont mind - i find most of it fun

Dislikes: Mining, scanning:- i should note that those are the things i dislike the most, although i still do them now and again heh

DuckSex > my solution to solo pvp: create an alt account. hunt yourself.

Idealist Portrait of the Healer

Healers present a calm and serene face to the world, and can seem shy, even distant around others. But inside they're anything but serene, having a capacity for personal caring rarely found in the other types. Healers care deeply about the inner life of a few special persons, or about a favorite cause in the world at large. And their great passion is to heal the conflicts that trouble individuals, or that divide groups, and thus to bring wholeness, or health, to themselves, their loved ones, and their community.

Healers have a profound sense of idealism that comes from a strong personal sense of right and wrong. They conceive of the world as an ethical, honorable place, full of wondrous possibilities and potential goods. In fact, to understand Healers, we must understand that their deep commitment to the positive and the good is almost boundless and selfless, inspiring them to make extraordinary sacrifices for someone or something they believe in. Set off from the rest of humanity by their privacy and scarcity, Healers can often feel even more isolated in the purity of their idealism.

It's a really faithful representation of me.

Hehe I have been an actual healer in some games Attention
Maybe it's not a random chance that I started the one Charity in EvE.

Am I even playing the right game?

Likes

- Being a safe haven for anyone who wants relief and compassion. Being the person you can trust.
- Figuring out the best way to do something.
- Writing guides and tutorials and teaching.

Edit: forums can't even link CCP's own links! So I had to tiny-url them Shocked

- Slam in everyone's face that one can be a good person and succesful even in EvE. Even in RL!
- Forum whoring.
- Market analysis. The consequence (making money in RL, ISK in game) almost bores me.
- Everything that takes zero time and thus lets me wander in my 1000 fantasies.
- Surprises.
- Industry that takes zero time (invention, BPO copy / research, PI etc.)
- Missioning.
- Lore learning.
- Roleplaying (ok I am definitely playing the wrong game!)
- Small roams, but then I feel bad for killing someone X.

Dislikes

- Myself, too many times.
- Politics and the plethora of hypocrisy, falsehood, thieving, corruption and mongering that goes with it.
- Scamming. Unneeded bad imposed on someone else.
- Unprofitable and / or unrewarded tedium, grinding.
- Bigotry.
- 0.01 ISK Trading like a muppet.
- Being a little cog in the grand plans of someone selfish else.
- Leading. It's a great thing (was the leader of a 160 players online hard core guild at one time) but it burns out like nothing else!

Didn't copypaste it, but I got everything on "Slightly".

Does that mean I win the test by being a normal person?

edit: ENTJ ...just read the evaluation...

field marshal...

what?

Natural born leader and manipulator???? me??? Shocked

enjoys: planing evil schemes, organizing, helping train newbies, finding new, funny and exotic ways to either die or get stuff done (i.e. using very ..ahem.. experimental fits), dominating the markets of my region (not so much for isk but for the fun of it.)

dislikes: tedious, monotonous stuff like mining or mission grinding- so basically 75% of the game.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Wow. That was scary accurate. Test sees me more clearly than my wife does. Lol And correctly covered everything I've ever done in Eve.

INFJ 22/50/25/11

Used to be in corporations and assume responsibilities which made the game a chore to log on to. Always fighting for the underdog. Finally switching to solo small-ship PvP, still trying to assist new players.

Creepy.
