I'm starting this thread because I found out that other company will release it's next game allowing selling ingame items for ingame currency or REAL MONEY !

And it's not just a company, it's the most successful company EVER ! After CCP, of course ! ( Giggles :D )

So my question is : Why is RMT bad ? I know it's bad cos CCP is against, we all know that already. We want to play the game, we have to agree with CCP rules...but that's not why I started this thread.

The way I see it, everybody benefits : buyer will survive another month in game, seller gets some real cash, CCP sells it's plex. Who gets hurt in this cos I see only happiness and joy here...

Sellers were born cos there are buyers. Period. Nobody can't stop that. There will always be buyers therefore will always be sellers.
It's a war against RMT ? Who wins? Cos again, the way I see it, everybody is losing...Let's assume there is a player, wealthy in real life and he has just started the game. It's a game that takes years of training, you can't progress faster cos the training is a real time one. So what is he gonna do? Wait a few years to have a decent character or try to speed things up a little bit ? I'd go for second one. If he's unable to get a char with real cash, he's gonna give up most likely. He will not pay for the plex, CCP will not get money for the plex and the RMT'er won't sell anything for real cash and move to some other place.

Well, there's lot more to say but I got bored for now...

Don't go mad for this thread as I don't give a crap, instead you could come up with opinions and open my eyes...

My 2 cents:

If everyone bought gtc and converted to plex and isk via CCP. Then there wouldn't be a problem because:
The RMT people hack other accounts to get the isk to sell, etc, etc..
You encourge RMT people to do bad things to get the isk/stuff to sell, if you buy from them.

If you buy isk via CCP then you can buy ingame things with real money.

But you want to sell in game things for real money?
Then you encourge people to just play the game or do something somehow good or bad to get things in game, that people would pay real money for?

How's that?

Wait, is this about buying isk or buying characters?
OP is slightly confusing to me.
