Confirming that I would probably vote for someone else if I wasn't actually running.

Skye Aurora is a 7 year old Girl Who Wants to be on the CSM! Unfortunately, the Lawyers say you have to be 21 - oh well.

Hans Jagerblitzen looks good for high sec/low sec.

Hans might seem good, but he's got very meager experience in the hisec arena and very little idea of the way it actually works. If you are interested in seeing the new expansion's focus on warfare in hisec turn out well for all parties, I strongly recommend Alekseyev Karrde.

Looking at the "likes" Hans has more support to actualy win vs Alekseyev Karrde.

Correct me if i am missing something.

"Likes" aren't votes. If they were, I'd have told people to like my post . As is, I hit 100 the first day I posted up and have spend my time organizing for the election.

The message speaks for itself. Hans > you. Sorry.

Don't feel badly about it. You're not the only heavily-indoctrinated automaton pre-programmed to spout BS about a nobody.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

To clarify a concern that has been raised, if a someone isn't listed in my posts at the beginning of the thread then they either didn't apply or didn't meet the acceptance criteria. We can't divulge information on specific applicants so if you are concerned that someone you were supporting isn't listed, all we can advise is contacting them and asking them about it.

I quite like the idea of the Panamanian guy, just because he likely to have an unorthodox, for me, worldview.

And the Belgian, hell if those guys can do without a government because they were tired of assclowns then he may shake stuff up.

Toughie really, as whoever get's in is going to have to get over the debacle that was the "Emergency CSM Summit". No point in covering that sad affair here.

From a voting point of view I would like it to matter who represented us, rather than it just be a form of pseudo celebrity for a bunch of attention junkies to wax themselves.

Obviously, you vote and you take your choice of candidate based on you own personal reasons etc.

However, what do folk think about the concept of a CSM?

Does having a CSM add anything for you guys? No carping here, I'm not on a rant, I just want to canvas opinion on the whole concept of it.

A little bit of fun and interest once a year whilst folks stoke up their network leverage to see what they can do? I think that guy Skindhu did a talk on netwoks and influencers at a fan fest a while ago etc

Or a real attempt to garner feeback and manage expectations and communications?

Could you post the final list here with final "like" count at the end of the nomination proccess.

Also is the order of candidates random on that page? If not it needs to be to keep things fair.

If i dont know something about EVE. I check https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISK_The_Guide

Is it possible, that in the list of canditates it says shortly what the canditates stands for. Like a phrase or something short. Its now painfull to read every canditates post to get a picture, what are they going to bring on the table. For example:

nameLink1 : "More same old FIS, less everything else."

Or a list example:
Pro:
walking on stations: nameLink1, nameLink4...
new player experiense: nameLink3, nameLink4...
flying in space: nameLink2

Against...
mining changes: nameLink, nameLink2, nameLink3...
capital nerf: nameLink2, nameLink4...

Hope to see this soon =)

I disagree!

The order is indeed randomised. We don't have plans on releasing "like" numbers as it's not really related to the final part of the voting process; there are some player created tools that have done this though (like this).

This would be good to get; sadly I don't think this will be possible for this election but we are looking into ways to modify the system to make things clearer. Again, some player tools summarising views and such (namely Vote Match) are good for this.
