I know that you can't create contracts for them, but you should be able to trade them?

Don't wanna hijack this or anything, but how rare can they be, one can wonder...is this serious ?
I got 13 capsules laying around, 12 are my own and 1 is another characters.

I'm not sure how rare they are... it used to cost exactly 0 isk and a clone jump to get one... I still have a few too. That said, they were perceived to be totally worthless. How many there are still probably depends on the tendency of EvE players to try and keep a tidy hanger. I usually watch the sell orders thread pretty regularly and I don't see capsules on sale very often. They are unusual now... I wouldn't say they are necessarily "rare", but I can say that the number of them in game probably are skewing towards rare and the likelyhood of one being sold these days seems low: that combined with ISK inflation, I would say that makes a capsule a decent long term investment and a reasonably attractive collectors item. Unlike Apotheosis or Primae, I don't see CCP doing a promotional re-issue of them either (since they were never issued in the first place), so there probably aren't any more coming into the game than there are right now. Just my 2 isk.

Edit: I'm not selling mine... but it may be that someone out there stockpiled thousands of them like some people I know do rookie ships. There are some real weirdos in EvE RollBlink
