Graphical glitches... have had this for months now, even after formats and driver updates

hi guys, well getting lots of graphical glitches, for instance, Station, when i log in, it shows loading screen into captains quarters but it does not actually load in, then if i say open up a window, then close it, it shows the window there but its not actually there,

same with if i open a window, drag it, it shows it like dragged and smeared, then when i close it, still there, but yet again not literally

now, if i say undock, game either a: crashes, or b: station goes invisible, i see its LIGHTS but i dont see the station its self, Also my carrier will go invisible, see its lights, i can go to a pos, same thing stuffs invisible but thel ights,


also some times the lights might just kind of all teh sudden like Glow a bright white like a big white ball

its getting annoying, ive formatted 3x over, ive went through like 6 different drivers changes, and no fix

now, i have a ATI video card, the 5850, and i ask others and they dont have the issue or atleast the ones on NVIDIAS, so im thinking that its a ati problem???

is there something that makes it do this? a certain option? or something, i run the game maxed in everything i can gfx wise, i also tried turning off the AA and that did not change anything,

so yeah its been freezing and crashing also now, Any fix's??? i almost guarantee i am not the only 1 with this issue, there must be a fix or something...

im on windows 7 64bit, thanks

i get this crap all the time, Whats the fix... does anybody know!!! i mean its been like a year!!!! and same ****, why has this not been fixed..., thanks

REALLY? nobody!, what the hell, i would of expected somebody to say something, its going to be a known issue.........................

and now im getting invisible asteroids.... also, ive REPAIRED the game, ive done all sorts of stuff, changed drivers, ive formatted, no change.............


come on devs, you must know whatsu p.....!

I have a 5850 as well, no issues.

Honestly it sounds like you may have hardware issues. Is your video card overheating? Even if it's not it could be dying. If you have another card you should swap them and see if that fixes the problem.

hmm, interesting,

what drivers do you have? do you have the "latest" w hich is like 12.1?

and as far as cooling goes, im on liquid so gaming my vid cards like 45-50C under full load, i also have a fan blowing on it to keep it cool,

it could just be a drivers issue im thinking,

I am not at home right now and I won't be for quite a while so I can't check...but I seem to recall 11.3 or something close to that.
