Lol @ tards who keep making Goon posts. Every one of these posts has a chance to be the last straw that breaks the empire. Oh wait, no, it's just another hurf blurf.

The Mittani is just that awesome I guess.

Aww, not voting for The Mittani?

Actually, right I forgot tons of goons are running also. Maybe next year I will not be such a newbie and can run.

Given that they plan on completely controlling the next CSM, I recognize that this current asshattery is child's play compared to what they will have in store once they have total control of CCP's ear.

Last I saw there were 2 goons running, though one was "not endorsed by goons'.
Plus, it is quite simple, even expected, to have alt's of goon's running.

There was a blog a few months ago, which I cannot find right now, that did an analysis on how many votes were needed to win a seat on the last CSM. It was something like 1300-1500 votes to get elected last time.
It is a pretty simple thing for goons, who have well in excess of 6000 votes available within their mains and alts (2000 in goonswarm, plus the alt on those accounts, plus who knows how many other non-goon affiliated alt accounts), to split their votes to elect a lot of people to the CSM.

Mittani may be an evil jerk, but he is far from stupid.
He can easily have a strawmen/puppets running as a rep for high sec interests, another for wormhole interests, a few apparently non-goon related people running as well.

All can be elected and then "Surprise, we all are goons!"
The smart play of course is to keep that fact under tight wraps even after the election.
That NDA is a wonderful tool to muzzle anyone from stating precisely what interests were represented by whom.

Now, I do believe that Kelduum from Eve UNI will get in, since he also has a large potential voting bloc there.
But rest assured, when the voting is done, the scaled down CSM (was 7 reps + 7 alternates, now 5+5) will be goon-dominated.

How is The Mittani's CSM campaign relevant to Bat Country's ice interdiction?

And all you highsec sheep will do is continue to bleat as the monster picks off your weak and wounded. If Bat Country's actions are causing such hardships, then stop them. There is nothing preventing you from putting an end to their predations other than your own fear.

You asked me once, what was in Room 101. I told you that you knew the answer already. Everyone knows it. The thing that is in Room 101 is the worst thing in the world.

I remember playing a game were the equivalent to the 'goons' were a guild called 'scum'.
They ruined the game for many and eventually the server became a ghost town. Let's hope that doesn't happen in Eve. Bear

Goon antics are a very large part of why a lot of people even started playing EVE. Their propaganda too.

Oh, so it's Bat Country doing something.

Ok, then I guess we did something after all. Huh.

Wow. That was by far the most idiotic OP I've seen in a very very long time… Ugh

Good to see people derailing the thread so effectively.

Just for the record, OP: what you're doing is claiming that, say, building hotels in Monopoly is the mark of a sociopath. Naturally, this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and rather suggest that you have sever problems separating game and real life. That's a pretty nasty psychological affliction, and the clinical psychologist you're suggesting would probably be better off starting with you…

That is EVE. It is what it is about.

The CSM does not control CCP. They can make suggestions. At the same time; you as a player have the power to make a suggestion (In the appropriate forum), agitate for support and force the CSM to table it. That is your power. You can exercise it if you wish.

By the same token:

which is become increasing likely given their control of the CSM.

Is rubbish. You know that some of the elements in the recent CSM minutes are there because they were necessary. The spread from the last minutes was pretty damn good.

It burns me too when I see people complain without using the power at their own disposal. It also burns me when I see this type of thread. The Goons are assholes, but they play EVE well.

They have the power to burn us all on the EVE-O forums, and they use that power a whole damn lot!

Only if you worry about what is said. The Goons as an entity never struck me as being overly sensitive. Well, perhaps Weaslior (Did I spell that right) His last thread was damn near hysterically funny. God emperor indeed.
