I want the ability to customize the client so that when I lock a target it plays Skye saying "locking target" in the ice miner kill video. Because that would be awesome.

You know we've often played around with the notion of making a Skye soundboard with all the important phrases needed for commanding a fleet.

'At my signal.... unleash hell!'

I never vote for anyone who can't spell "Sky", especially if they claim they can fly a ship in space.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

My platform is entirely built around 'what's best for Eve' - I share no particular alliegiance or affiliation, but I promise that on the CSM I will play devils advocate and argue contrary points with other representatives as a means to ensure that the CSM is never dominated by a particular view without all sides of an issue being debated.

Microtransactions - I stand by the 'No Pay To Win' principle, and I admonish CCP for squandering valuable developer time on the fashion accessories when the rest of the Incarna system was so immature. I believe that whatever gets made available via the store should always be saleable on the open market, and destructable under the right circumstances.

Incursions - Incursions represent a great step forward in PVE content, but there are certainly thorny issues. And the numbers show that 30% of the PVE isk income in the game is coming from incursions but being delivered to a much smaller pool of pilots, this may not be healthy for the economy. I think it might be exciting if CCP were to look developing a pro-sansha option allowing players to support the incursions.

The Economy & PLEX prices - PLEX are a fantastic commodity, however their price rise is something of a 'Canary in the coal mine' situation, I believe that the players and CCP both benefit if the inflation can be kept under control, even if hard choices have to be made.

Supercapital proliferation - Titans in large numbers really are unbeatable, while most ships can easily orbit under the guns of a single titan this becomes impossible when a blob is introduced. Sov warfare in Eve needs to try and change course, we're sliding down a slippery slope as more supercaps are the only viable counter. Neither do I want to nuke someone's investment into these huge ships, the resolution of this problem is perhaps complex, but it needs to come sooner rather than later with new Titans rolling out every day.

The War On Lag - Being a tech geek I've been enjoying the devblogs, I've even participated in the mass tests on occasion to directly assist the developers in testing code performance. But the war is not over, and I am absolutely willing to consider gameplay modifications that would reduce the need for blobs and thus help with the lag situation.

Incarna - is a sorry chapter of Eve history, to spend so much effort for so little return is shameful. I am not opposed to further development here, I really would like to walk around more than the one room, but it is a decidely low priority. If the WoD/Dust dev teams can pull together enough technology and assets to make integration with Eve a minimal task, that's to be encouraged.

And if I were to push some new agenda out of leftfield, something that no other candidate is discussing:

'The Ships Are The Characters' - they are the real avatars that players care about, 'This is my rifter. There are many like it but this is my own.' - ships need more love, more personalization. This is a whole avenue of exploration. I sold my first noctis for 360million isk, I believe that the person who assembled that ship should be able to show this was one of the first, something like an assembly date and unique serial number on every ship, visible on killmails, contracts and other places, would have the potential to add much to the game. Attach combat logs to the ships themselves as well as the pilot.
And of course, for those pilots who really want to be called primary, the option to paint their hull in some more distinctive style would add to the game, even if this purely cosmetic option could be disabled on a per client basis for those with archaic graphics hardware. I could go on, and indeed, I have in the past.

Hope your campaign is equally blessed as your experience as a father. All the best.

Of course, I can largely support this proposal, however I believe that this is merely a first step in creating a better 'anti-pirate' experience.

I have long argued that the existing bounty system is functionally useless, and during my previous campaign I supported the notion that kill rights should be transferrable to entities more capable of delivering vengeance. And furthermore, I have suggested on many occasions that bounty payouts should be entirely pegged to a verifiable loss. This of course leads to a minor conflict with another popular request to reduce clone costs for advanced players, which would reduce the potential payout for a podding.

During the CSM 5 election cycle I'd also argued in favour of buffing low-sec by making it the source of 'Black Codes' - hacking modules and codes with functionality that could be exploited by both pirates and law enforcement. One of the features that these codes would deliver would be a replacement for the existing locator agent system, taking the existing system probing experience and scaling it up to galactic scale, moving your software probes around the networks to trace your targets with more finesse. But of course these grand ideas need to be tempered by the acknowledgment that CCP only has a limited amount of developer resources.

Right now the opposite of a pirate is a carebear, I believe that the game can be improved through adding a legitimate player driven law enforcement element. Fixing the bounty system is one small step in this direction, but it should not be the last.

Also, ponies are pretty. (says Skye)

In an effort to quash rumors and speculation about my recent last minute cancellation of campaign events I am making this statement:

Yesterday, Orion (AKA 'Spaceesshhipps') was involved in a bike accident and rushed to hospital with multiple injuries, we immediately cancelled all engagements related to the CSM campaign so we could be with Orion at the hospital. Orion being the brave aspiring capsuleer that he is reassured us that "it is but a flesh wound", and urged us not to give up in our CSM campaign on his account.

Orion is now at home and is expected to recover fully in a month or two, possibly faster if his we can keep him optimistic about Eve's future by getting your vote for CSM7.

Skye, if you convince your daddy to drop out and support me, I will send you special copies of the "Growing Up With Hello Kitty" videos, autographed by the actresses who played Kitty and Mimmy.

PS: get well soon, Orion!

Could we get photographic evidence, that you actually own an autographed copy of said videos?

Why thank you FDR!

Trebor, seriously, I can't accept that offer, because even if I did drop out I have other CSM support commitments that preempt this. You're a great candidate, who I have previously supported, but there are other forces at work here.

You make a good case, but you should not have lead with the popularity of your daughter. You should have had an alt or friendly third party 'leak' the links into a separate thread and present the softer side of your campaign that way.
Take a leaf out of The Mittani's book. His campaign thread is all hardcore and bluster because he's got the grit to take it (and he won't fall for any traps damn-it), while a trusted 'party' member woos weak willed industrialists on a different thread.
Really, he's so far ahead of the curve that quite frankly I think he deserves to be chairman again.
He will be by the way.

Absolutely, there's no way I'll be able to challenge the voting bloc of the CFC, and indeed I don't have to beat The Mittani in the election, I just need to get enough to get any place on the council. Looking at the (admittedly low quality) vote match data you can see that my opinions make me the most centrist candidate, is you trust *science* then you see that while some candidates claim to be supporting Nullsec/Hisec/wormholes/miners/hermaphrodites I can show that my positions support *everyone*.

And if elected I'll make videos of Skye's commentary on the CSM proceedings - it'll be more entertaining and accurate than anything Riverini will produce.
