Annoying Sound Glitch

Once I activate my "salvager I"s, the audio effect for this sound remains playing in the background, whether or not the salvagers are currently active, or even if i switch ships/dock. I have to open the game settings tab, turn off the sound, and turn it back on to remove this sound effect. Not the end of the world, but its annoying- any others experiencing this issue?

Yes, almost every time i use a salvaging module this is happening. This is not limited to the salvager in my case though.
The tractor sound gets mangled into infinite loop as well.
