eve sov 0.0 is done. aside of some few areas to just grind through it is now owned 2/3 DRF and renters of them while rest is owned goons & co who have now agreed blue standings with DRF making whole of conquerable space to be blue to eachother. again, congratulations on "finishing the game"

Yes... and as the gaming community understands this more and more, the declines in new subscribers will accelerate.

CCP needs to counter balance the situation by revitalizing solo PvP with weapons that are truly threatening to the Mega-Corps in zero. When they do this, the solo masses in highsec will flock to solo PvP assaults on the Moguls. Why? Because they can.. that is IF CCP arms the solo pilots with truly BUNKER BUSTING FIREPOWER. It would be fun to do.

The fun factor will bring droves of new subscriptions of new players hellbent on destroying everything in zero.

or CCP can just continue the same "set in cement" situation now and die a slow death as subscriptions continue to slide.

I thoroughly endorse this most excellent suggestion and support any aid that will enable and encourage the masses of Eve to revolt against their oppressors.

depressingly big amount of players i know have allready said **** this and left the game. russians taking 0.0 just because they can (or maybe cause it is good business) with unstoppable supercap swarm has that effect..

all scaps need to be removed from game, sp's put back into the sp fund, mineral value of all ships be paid to there current pilots. any mods fitted put back into teh pilots cloan station

bs fleets ftw, scaps are broken, if they are only changed a bit, they will still be broken.

that would make me happy and my 2 toons would get massive piles of sp's to blow yay

OMG when can i get a pic here

You know what would make eve great.

Removing all standings between player corps and alliance, so everyone is always neutral.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

people would just find a way around it, and moreover they'd just be pissed at CCP for making the game even more of an irritating fight with the UI

Removing local would be the end of the capital-driven need to to be on control of 0.0 as well. A big hit on the bots.

Overall, what do we have here? On the one hand, anything that makes 0.0 space harder to keep OR less worthwhile to control is going to bring a river of tears from those who have it their way right now. It's not a "nerf" issue really. They can simply make 0.0 less worthwhile to keep and that's enough.

In addition to removing local, removing gate-to-gate jumping, an on-board jump system that *certain* ships already have, made available to everybody, will increase the need for small gang PVP as the gate camp is dead from that point on, so patrols will have to be established instead.

No gates, no local - and space will actually feel like.... space.

So, nullsec really is EVE's endgame content, because when you get out there you realize your game is at an end. Meanwhile life in empire and wh space goes on despite 0.0 changing hands from one blob to another, more NAPs being signed between the power blocs and the CCP/CSM trying to coerce everyone not currently living in null into joining that big steaming pile of ****.

So then the mega-corps would simply blob BUNKER BUSTERS and then everyone will call for supers to be be buffed so they can kill the bunker busters and the bunker busters will need to be nerfed or supers buffed and then the supercaps nerfed because the bunker busters can't kill the supers..............................................

More/less/bigger/smaller ships will never solve Eve sov issues. Minor tweaks just might turn the ride but as we've seen, small tweaks can have huge effects. Even killing local will harm the game IMO.

If you make 0.0/sov even harder for the average player, even less will go there. Part of the reasons ppl are in 0.0 is because the supers and the blue blobs, sov etc. makes them feel safe. Take that away and they'll leave.

1) If 0.0 is supposed to be no more than a playground for roaming subcap lolz then simple, remove sov.
2) If large alliances and sov mechanics are there to provide haven security for players, get in there and fight them if you want it.

Which is it to be?

Just keep in mind that ANY change needs to be very carefully thought over otherwise CCP will be revisitng this subject every 12 months when everyone starts complaining that null is empty, just like they do with low-sec now.

That and .. as someone who recently created a new character for the first time since learning was 'improved', the fact it now takes FOREVER to create even a basic character skillset thanks to the death of 2x bonus.

No wonder ccp is struggling for subs. Who the hell is going to sit around doing nothing for min two months before they can even play the game? it used to be a month or so to t2 frig .. now its 60-90 days. Win.

Hmm. Eve is a long term prospect.

For mine, SP's add value to a char and the harder and longer you have to work to get them, the more valuable it makes you as a player.

If we could all be Titan pilots in a couple of months, the game would seriously fail.
