This is a forum alt but on my main I am currently training up for a Mach.
I know it is the fastest and most agile battleship but I like to nano my ships s could someone help me with a fit ?

Requirements
-Uses 3 NFIS's or "nano's"
-High end faction and deadspace gear but no officer
-provide a list of stats
*I am also in need of hardwires 7-10 so any recommendations are welcome
*1-6 slots I have low grade nomads*
*I plan to use this in group missioning in Gallente/Caldari Space*
*no eccm or ecm please, purely speed tank and dps*

This is what I had in mind
Highs
- 7 x 800mm autocannon II's
Medium
- Highest end faction/DED X-Large shield booster
- Highest end faction/DED 100mn afterburner
- Highest end faction/DED shield boost amplifier
- Highest end faction/DED thermal shield hardener
- Highest end faction/DED kinetic shield hardener
Lows
- 3 x Nanofiber Internal Structure
- 3 x Highest end faction/DED gyrostabilizer
- Damage Control II
Rigs
- 2 x Large Capacitor Control Circuit II's
- 1 x Large Capacitor Control Circuit I

Thank you very much!

Interesting idea. I don't know the finer stats of the faction parts, but I do want to point out that you can't fit 2x Large CCC IIs and 1x Large CCC I because you don't have enough calibration points. You can do 1x II and 2x Is though. Seems kind of paper thin and tracking limited for maybe 200m/s more speed.

I guess you could do that.

A mach with suitable prop-mod is pretty good for scooting round any mission. I'm not sure that adding a bunch of nanos actually improves her that much.

The lowslots on my mission runner machs are full of 3 each faction gyrostabilisers and tracking enhancers, with a damage control thrown in to make me feel like I have some tank. I may have a fitting rig in an early one but think the recent ones are gunnery rigged. Unlike my rattlesnake I don't use super-expensive midslots gear, a decent faction prop mod and shield stuff to taste.

The A/C 800s will kill most everything well before it gets close enough to actually orbit you. For the few frigs that manage that you have some drones.
In high-DPS rooms (AE4 bonus room) you're relying on movement as much as, or more thank, brute tank. Kill Webbers and scrammers and move, move, move.

If your thing is to have very fast mach and you're happy to sacrifice gank-utility then mebbe look at nav rigs on top of what you're doing there. Otherwise a gank-optimised mach with a little attention to tank and speed, is a very nice way to go. Despite what ppl say, there are some very good mach fitting examples in battleclinic. They are good starting points for building your own super-sexy mother of all gank ships.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

The reason for the nano's is for agility and personal preferance but it greatly helps with having LG Nomads as well but thank you

I believe the point was that it doesn't actually need any nanos, since it's almost like they're built in anyways. A Mach has better speed/agility than a Cane with base stats, putting three Nanos on it makes it more like a frigate's level of agility. The problem with that is that you're sacrificing gank and tracking/range for over-the-top agility that doesn't actually help you at all.

It's your ship though, and you can fit it however you want. The standard lowslot layout for a Mach is 3x TE + 4x Gyro from what I've seen, if you want to change it, it's your ship.

Well 2 CCC II+CCC I rigs will be fitted on any ship in like never... beside that if you do something useless as fitting nanos on a mach, then using X-L booster is wrong way to do it=speed/sig tank require ab on for prolonged periods thus you need less of a cap guzzler booster... go with large gist.

Also 2 nanos are good(bad) enough use freed low for te and try to fit tracking comp or your own created traversal will make you suck compared to no worry auto-pilot press single button every now and then tengus.

Why would you put nanos on a mission mach?

Odd choice to nano-fit a mission mach.
Mach: 7.8s align time
Nanos: 5.1s
Nanos+Nomads: 3.8s

Anyway, as for drones, 5x lights for frigates, and 3xWeb drones + TP drone to help make up a bit for the fact that you have no TE/TCs and plan on speed tanking. (Meaning, you might have tracking issues if you fly to maximize tank instead of gank.)

you're going to want at least 1 tracking enhancer and 3 damage mods.

So, you want a gunship with high speed to orbit your target and no tracking bonus whatsoever. And plan to use autocannons without falloff boosting modules.

Are you sure you need help for such a bad fit ?

Thank you very much but could I get a fit ?? What would the dps be like with +5 implants + 2 TE's + 2 gyro's ??
I was pretty sure that 800's already had good tracking
Also I will be flying with a scimitar so I am not really worried about tank and as for dps I will have loki's and hurricanes to help suppliment but nano's really help keep up with them. I also just really like having an uber agile battleship
I mission for fun

i think the DC on your setup isnt needed if you really want the nanos go 2 nano 2 te 3 gyro thats the better mix i can think for you

I use the setup described in the 2nd or so post and my DPS starts dropping if I orbit a BATTLESHIP at about 5km (I think? Might have been a hair closer) at nearly 500m/s. You want to go faster than that and you want to not use tracking mods? Yes ACs track well but not THAT well, they're still large guns.

Republic Fleet Tracking Enhancer
Republic Fleet Tracking Enhancer
Republic Fleet Tracking Enhancer

Mid's:

Phew, makes me glad I make no allusion to being a 'real man' ... whatever that fictitious beastie may be.

Zat's point is valid tho, a mach can run a decent armor setup. What this does tho, is reduce your lowslot damage-amplification (gyro, te) options and increases your midslot availability (PvP mods or secondary damage multipliers ... tc, webs, or painters etc).

By using CCC rigs you can also keep your options open, since they will assist both armor and shield tanks, but in doing this you miss out on some gank and tank optimization opportunities.

Forever juggling.

You wont get optimal mach setup with nanos in the lows, but if you have to do it then consider polycarbon rigs in place of one or two nanos so you can fit some tracking enhancer on. Maybe 3 gyro, 2 TE, 2 nano + 2 or 1 polycarbon + ambit or metasis rigs.

If you have logistics support, don't local tank, fit resists and let your spacepriest do its work.

Fit an MWD if you have to go LOLfast

Something me shudder when I see 5x stacking penalized mods being used. You could probably get a lot more bang for your buck by limiting it to 3-4 damage mods. Your 5th mod adds what... Like 20 dps?

Nano on a mission ship seems funny, but if you have to have it, 3 is complete and utter overkill. Try something like 1 nano + 3 gyro + 3 TE. With all those shield resist mods, the DC is just taking up a low slot that could be better allocated to something else. Why is it that mission runners always overtank their ships to the detriment of what they are trying to do?

If you don't fit some TE's, you will lose range and ability to track - thus gimping your fit.
