Punkturis for a replacement vid because:

1. She would know what she was talking about and sell it
2. She hasn't got a huuuuggge acting talent (of a manikin with a brush up her ass)
3. She would enjoy it
4. aaaW so cute!

The vid missed out the whole point of explaining cloning and the whole universe you have entered.. you just thought.. wow this women is a terrible actress.. look at those Eyebrows.. is she related to Shadoo?

Seems like the video u will get when you roll a new character, something which they will be putting into the new player experience improvements to draw ppl in.

I dont get how ppl can hate on this video so bad, inst it completely CG? Which is one of the best looking pieces I have seen. Sound and ambiance was great. I am no expert on voice acting but it wast bad, maybe even good.


Don't get me wrong space battles and explosions are great, but only a part of what I consider good sci-fi.

Were you in ATUK at one point? Or BDCI? using another character of course....

If you want to see quality CG - take a look at these guys because that is the de facto for CG right now.

Love watching the raging idiots who think this is a trailer. I <3 you guys. It's an introductory video you nubs.

Personally I liked it. I mean, who better than a cold hearted ***** to welcome you to the universe to EVE?

The only thing I would add would be a line at the end where she says, "here is your spaceship, now go **** yourself."

As did I. number of the promo vids are well done and inspirational. Unfortunately the mechanics in the game won't allow for those scenarios and it's either all a pipe dream or just propaganda vids. Fun to watch, just complete bullshit.

So a live actress, complete with authentic clothing and hair style, actually makes the video fake... Smile

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of video's on YouTube featuring fleet brawls. There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking a different approach once in a while.

To some of the other responses, she isn't a captor. She is a med/clone tech present when you activate your clone to monitor the process and assist you. She is clinical, professional, somewhat detached, precise... and since this is supposedly your first time experiencing awakening in a clone she provides you with a basic orientation while you are adjusting to the experience.

She reminds me of a few nurses I know.

Edit: Disoriented is the somewhat slurred, primarily Americanized version of disorientated. Considering her accent her pronunciation is completely proper... unless you'd like to continue telling the English that they are speaking their native tongue incorrectly.

i think that is the whole point of the trailer
and it is short enough to b e used as a commercial spot on line

Note on the acting and actress

Aura is suppose to be a hologram and not a person so yeah i think it was done nicely
