Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Upon trying to login into eve online this morning i got a prompt to download a 10mb patch and when i tried i got a error saying: "Unable to download file 342397/evepremiumpatch341054-342397.exe from the server.
Error: [Errno socket error] [Errno 10060] A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond: 'connect operation system fail'"
I have been able to play eve on this college dorm network before but so far i dont think ive tried to download a patch. In addition, I have message saying "incompatible (protocol)" under server status and get a error saying that same thing when i try to play eve without downloading the patch.

After that i tried manaully downloading the patch but cant get past the download button nor the support link because i get "connection timed out" on Google Chrome, Internet explorer and Mozilla Firefox. And i havent been able to find a mirror for the patch (crucible 1.2.1)

Any Help appreciated please

However, i was not able to even get to that webpage because: (Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to content.eveonline.com)
(it did hang at loading the webpage for a while so i think it might of timed out?)

The repair tool will patch you to the version running on TQ if your installation is outdated (essentially the same the Generic Patcher does)

Just for a future reverence: if you can connect to TQ your client is up to date.
