I'm really tired of the drake and would like something faster and omg if possible more cargo space for loot. I been enjoying the Drake but for my tastes I rather have a faster / stronger ship that would be for high sec only. I'm compulsive so I loot everything and with the drake sometimes loots 40-50km away and KILL me haha.

Anyways anyone have suggestions on good level 3 and 4 ships. I do have a scorp in storage for many years now. ( I just came back and really have no clue at this point hehe )

Marauder? Golem is really bad right now though. If your trained in Amarr or Minmatar the Paladin and Vargur are both great and the Kronos is very underrated. The Golem will probably wind up being a bit faster than the Drake, but you will have a much larger cargohold and three spare hislots for tractors and salvagers.

Refreshing Lemon-Lime~

The only main ships I have trained are gal and cal. Been a while since I played not sure if that gives you any good info. I'm told though that there is not a good way of surviving like a drake.

EDIT: Also the ship I have in storage is a raven I think I said scorp opps!

so you fly a drake, how far are you off a Nighhawk skills wise? (they are in the 200mil price range) and with skills, implants As well as a little bit of faction love will do a lot better than your drake.

plus it wont feel as slow, bloated and fragile as raven.

Tengu? A little out of the price range but I bet the training time comes in much lower than the Nighthawk. For the price of a PLEX added to your current budget (also can liquidate the Scorp) I bet you'll save a month in training (waiting) time.

Because slow-boating 50km to wrecks in a Raven is faster than in a Drake.

I actually drag in the Noctis with an alt.

THIS is very true.

T3 is WAY too easy to step into IMHO.

Fair 'nuff. But Tengu + Noctis > Raven + Noctis (imho). Especially if he wants speed, and his OP says he does.

Fair enough...but it depends on the mission. rofl

I'll take the Raven into "Angel's Extrav", not the Tengu, due to shear number of ships and DPS involved. Requires a warp-away in Tengu.....maybe overly panicky warp-away, but we ARE talking a possible 2 Bill loss. Shocked

Am currently running Angel Extravaganza in my modest Tengu fit... just cooked a curry... reading this.. oh yeah change target.
AE is perfect for the Tengu as long as you get the frigs first.

Try one of these, Gila, CNR, Tengu.

Just start using a noctis to clean up after missions, this alone will cut the time spent running/looting down. Also fit a AB to your drake, this will make moving around not feel like slowboating (it also isn't all that much slower than a tengu with a good AB). You can still be cap stable and tank as good due to speed, even with your fat sig size.

Dont switch to a CNR, your dps may increase but unless you're prepared to spend a good amount the tank on some missions will create more of a hassle, besides as pointed out already, you wanted something faster so that alone removes the CNR.

As others said, get a tengu...

To the poster about not taking a tengu into AE... its laughable in a tengu, and the bonus room is cake unless you're purposely flying to give the AI its best transversal. The only reason I can think someone would say its hard in a tengu is because the are using HAM's in which case... I just feel sorry for you. 9/10 HML > HAM
