As I prepare to wind down my exploratory campaign to see if I am needed to run as protest vote I find myself in agreement with the results:

No I am not. Not this year at least.

There are several fine candidates in this race, the challenge is finding them in the long ballot.

Head and shoulders above the rest I would endorse as the most promising candidate:

Candidates to watch (but I haven't yet made up my mind about) would include:

Mike Azariah
- Great guy who joined us several nights in the CSM7 Town hall. Interesting conversations
Elise Randolph
- Great guy who joined us several nights in the CSM7 Town hall. Interesting conversations
Issler Dainze
- Unique viewpoint that may be an asset to the CSM
Kelduum Revaan
- NPE and training experience from EVE-Uni may be an asset
Alekseyev Karrde
- Seems well though of. Would like to know more
Dovinian
- Seems well though of. Would like to know more
Draco Llasa
- Seems well though of. Would like to know more
riverini
- Controversial figure. Wonder how much I've heard is propaganda, keeping an open mind.
Prometheus Exenthal
- Seems well though of. Would like to know more

- Providence is interesting and cool, but I am not sure I can get behind it being the future of all of EVE.

A number of others seem like decent people, and I hope they succeed in their ventures, but I cannot support them this time around. A few others seem like raving lunatics or merely trolls.

Regarding the goons, I have a grudging respect for who they are and what they've done. But in no way does this mean anyone outside of their block should vote for Mittani or any other Goon. Its a vote against your own interest, a sheep voting to replace the sheep hound with a wolf.

I would urge folk to take time to get to know these candidates and vote intelligently and with all seriousness, if you care about this game we play in any way. The CSM for better or worse is a factor in the future of this game, ignore it (or cast a joke vote) at your own peril.

The only end-game content in EVE Online is the crap that makes you rage quit.
