I see. That's 1bil in technetium per hour. How does that work? Altruistic members sit around mining the stuff all day and donate all the proceeds to the alliance wallet? Surely you wouldn't be using mining bots. This might be a good opportunity to set the record straight on the mining bot allegations.

1) Mr. Mittani and his Goon Party apparently have a breach in their campaign and/or party communications apparatus. That's an embarrassment for any candidate, especially one who holds himself out as the faultless dictator of a elite organization of whup-butt tear collectors. I hope Mr. Mittani hasn't been using '12345' as his password like the president of Syria did. (Little joke there). In any event, I wouldn't want to be one of the goons who was responsible for counter-spy stuff.

you realize that goon leadership themselves cross-posts their alliance news to kugu if nobody beats them to it?

you might also be surprised by https://forum.pleaseignore.com/forum/30-news-announcements/

any alliance-level information in large alliances like TEST and goons is effectively public anyways - trying to keep the lid down on this information is bound to fail and only creates an atmosphere of paranoia and frustration.

clever alliances deal with this issue pro-actively by differentiating between info that is meant to be private/op-sec (director/FC-level stuff) and calling a spade a spade rgd information that is effectively public.

Oh no! Our Jabber/Forum Backbone!

2) Mr. Mittani promised 500mil isk for each piece of good propaganda submitted. That's quite a pile of do-re-mi. But he failed to explain the source of the funds. Will the payment come from his personal account, or from the Goons' alliance funds? Maybe Goons don't care whether their dictator spends their collective money on his personal campaign or not. Most taxpaying people would, though.

500m is pennies, even to the lowliest scrub in the CFC.

Willard Mitt Romney wrote:
3a) Mr. Mittani's message implies that his being elected to the CSM is a group goal for the Goons. Not his own personal goal. In other words, that his being elected will benefit the Goons. That looks like pork barrel politics.*

*Pork barrel politics (American English) - When an elected official improperly uses his influence to provide special benefits to his own supporters. Rather than using it for what he was elected to do. In the case of CSM officers, I believe their role is to improve the game for all of the players in it. [/i]

Mittens as a incumbent seat, has his constituency already aligned to his cause, before he even ran; call him what you will, dislike goons because you don't want to understand him; but please point out a single other CSM that has brought to bear anything similar to Crucible.

Since we're talking real world politics and history- and before you try and discredit the CSM by saying that they just advised on Crucible and had nothing to do with it. Please remember, the Great Depression in the 20's happened before Hoover was elected, yet all the shanty towns were all called "Hoovervilles". Lol

Well, I stand corrected. On item 1 about the security breach, that is. I retract that statement-- mea culpa. And as you know, it takes a big man to admit that his fact-checking staffers made an embarrassing mistake.

Items 2 -3b still stand though. I smell bacon or some other pork product frying.

LOL

This might very well be the real Mitt Romney with that clue-level.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

Please continue OP,

You realize that your rage posts are what The_Mittani values most in this game right?

You pain, your ire, your suffering are the driving force behind the CFC's success.

In all seriousness (am I allowed to do that as a CFC membrer?) I'd be voting for The_Mittani even if he weren't my alliance leader. He's shown through his actions that he's competent and can indeed assist CCP in focusing on those aspects of the game that are in most dire need of improvement.

If you took the time to read his Constituents thread you'd find that most of his ideas about the game are very rational and well considered with not one iota of the silliness that so many of the "I hate goons because they are goons" crew claim he stands for.

In spite of the claims that he's only pushing for changes that are beneficial to the his alliance and the CFC he's actually pushing for a re-balance of tech, something that quite frankly is not in the CFC's favor.

As I like to point out about our dear leader, he may be Evil, but he isn't stupid. He's well read well educated and well spoken. He has a proven track record of accomplishments in the game including taking the broken remnants left of Goonswarm after Kartoon's incompetence and sheparding them through their nomadic period back to being one of the premier power houses in EVE, which proceeded to vanquish their oldest and most hated enemy from the field of battle (bye bye IT).

Hate him and the goons all you want you can't really deny his accomplishments.

The_Mittani is the most feared and hated boogieman monster of butthurt pubbies through out all of New Eden and in a game that prides itself on treachery, betrayal and harshness who would be better to represent the playerbase?

So Mittens is doing everything in his power to ensure that CSM7 is not a complete trainwreck. How is that a problem?

(It isn't)

By the way there's no rigging going on unless you count asking someone to vote for a certain candidate rigging

(Which it isn't)
