I don't know if I love Gallente frigs for soloing unless you want to do T2 (AF, inties) or the Comet, but you've still got a lot of good options. As a lot of people stated, both the Thorax and the Vexor are good options. If you can afford the BC hulls, I like the AC shield Myrm or the good old blaster Brutix. After insurance, none of these options are too hard on the wallet really, just depends what you're comfortable with.

Edit:

And the Catalyst. Destroyer buff + Hybrid buff = Much Improved Catalyst. And its cheap!

i love using the thorax. it can fit a nice buffer while being able to pump out the dps. Though since the hybrids buff ive moved onto using a vigilant and its brutal! I dont fly it solo though as i shield tank it to make full use of its speed. 2 LSE II, 1 Invul II and a mwd = no point, but i cant complain when it is an 800dps cruiser! Im yet to try it out with an armour fit though, but will do soon!
