is the type of rats you fight against based on the area of space you are in or is it based off the agent/faction you are doing missions for.

The reason I ask is I seem to remember doing missions for an amarr agent of some sort a long time ago and for the most part he gave me many serpentis missions (if I remember correctly) so I was wondering if there was a way to increase the chance of blood raider/sansha missions.

Mission is Amarr space if you want Blood / Sansha rats.

The enemy type is mostly dependent on the faction space you are in more so than the faction agent you're working for.

You will still get the odd serpentis / drone / Angel mission in Amarr space, but the main stay will be what you are looking for.

I think it depends more of agents faction than space type. Tested it so far on two agents myself.

One of these statements is correct - the other one is false (they are mutually exclusive)

If you really want an answer - you need to try it out for yourself, bear in mind the following though:

Each agent has an agent pool from which they draw missions - there is some debate as to whether that pool includes all available missions or not but the fact of the matter is that the missions which you get vary from agent to agent (some will say this is just the RNG - I'm not so sure).

This alone can in some way account for the discrepancy in the observations above.

For what it might be worth, my observation - It's the location of the agent, not the faction of the agent which determines which kind of missions you are going to get. (note that you'll only even observe this if you run missions for an agent which is located outside of his faction space, which is not usually the case)

There are some missions that rats are based on the region, ie. Blockade, recon, Worlds Collide and prolly some others I'm forgetting. In example Domain Region has sanshas in those, while Kador Region has Bloods.

Faction/corporation you're working for doesn't matter.
