i know that in higher wormholes battleship sleepers will spawn when u warp a capital into the site but will this also happen in a class 1 wormhole and if yes how many? also is there a higher chance of getting ribbons from a battleship than a cruiser or do u just get more from a bigger ship and just have to hope they are ribbons?

Capital escalations are only C5 and C6

Only get escalation waves in C5 and C6 WH's. And yes, you have a better chance of getting melted nano's from BS. From a C3 up you will need salvaging 4 to salvage them.

Is there any data on that? (ribbons) because I am fairly certain I have also read on these forums that the drop chance is the same for all sleepers.

thanks for the fast replies. well looks like im not going to built me a carrier in here than.

form what i have noticed, if i have 2 site. 1 with 6 cruisers and 1 with 12 frigs i have a bigger chance of ribbons in the site with the frigs than the cruisers. from what i see, the more ships the higher the chances

the chance of getting nanos is the same (afaik and have experienced) but you can get more nanos from a BS than a frig/cruiser wreck.
eg: the most nanos you can get from a BS is 6, the most from a frig is 3.

as a note, you do not strictly need salvaging 4.
in a C5-6, you need a base salvaging strength equal to salvaging 5.
eg: salvaging5, salvaging 4 + 1 rig, salvaging 3 + 2 rigs or salvaging 2 + 3 rigs.
if youre going to salvage high end whs at all frequently, youre going to was a noctis with 3 salvage rigs and salvage at least 4, preferably 5.
this is more for your sanity than the difficulty of the salvaging.

use a noctis with lvl 5 skills and 3 rigs in my class 1 already, works perfect.

on another note.
we have been in this wormhole for about 3 weeks now and we are noticing that we get less and less cosmic signatures.
i know years ago people were saying that when that happens u have to leave the wh so it cam respawn. whats tru about it? will we get new sigs in time or will the wh be depleted?

It doesn't matter if you are in it or not. It is just the way it works.

The general convention is that WH systems are grouped into constellations similar to regular space. And that when a site is cleared a new one forms in a random system within that constellation.

I would tend to agree with this assessment, based on my short 5 months in a wormhole. So you will noticed spawns being very random (both sigs and anoms). Since WH space is less populated you have a greater occurrance of these sites pooling up in systems that are unoccupied.

But it really is not that different than empire space. Go camp out a single system in High sec. You will noticed for that one system it really does not spawn THAT many sites per day. And exploration in high sec is very busy. The WH is similar as you are basically living in just one system.

Kk thx i knew that the anos worked that way but not that the sigs were the same. is a connected wormhole always in the.same sector as mine?

Honestly no idea. Plug your system into eve maps and it will show you the "constellation". I don't know where they get that info or how accurate it is

For me it's often been the case that farming C1-C2 Sleepers in ladars and gravs makes for more nanoribbons than spending the same amount of time running anoms. In C1's and C2's nanoribbons are where the main ISK is anyway, when you go up wh classes you'll start seeing a lot more ISK from blue Sleeper drops per site. Low level wh BS spawns are kind of meh when it comes to time-vs.-nanoribbons, unless you're super lucky.

Not sure what exactly you mean by connected, but if you're talking about your static, then the answer is "no". If say you live in a C2 with a A239 (low sec) and D382 (C2) static, then the C2 that opens up via the static can be any C2 in the universe, including your own (yep, seen that once a couple years ago, it was interesting...). It really is quite random. Since there are so many C2's, chances are pretty slim that the system through the static is in your constellation.

Incidentally, all systems in one w-space constellation have the same type of statics, and iirc the "region" has systems of all the same class. There's also some speculation that the "respawns immediately somewhere in the constellation" thing isn't true, there's evidence to the contrary out there. It's possible that only CCP knows the answer, but it's also possible they don't really know what's going on, as is apparently the case with some other aspects of w-space Blink

now that we have some people here that know about wormholes, is it in any way possible to repackage ships in a wormhole??

No, and you can't refit T3 subsystems either.

Some of our larger w-space brethren are so 'satisfied' that this is true that they have gone to a lot of effort to populate all the systems in their constellation ... especially (for example) the black-hole systems where unloved sigs and anoms tend to accumulate.

In doing this they can despawn sites and redirect them back to their main home systems.

Again, it's not proven and is entirely empirical ... but they seem satisfied that that is exactly how it works.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.
