Having problems when downloading while playing EVE

I always have this 'hanging' part whenever i start to play EVE wih my uTorrent downloading in the background.
My GUI everything is as normal just no damage indication when ratting, no response, no nothing.
My client restarts soon after and i resume to see the same problem occurring, only when i have my uTorrent on and downloading things.


Wondering if anyone had this issue and had some fixes for this?

Hi,

It is quite likely that you are choking out the bandwidth to the EVE client by downloading things at the same time. I would suggest that you use the throttling feature in uTorrent to decrease the amount of bandwidth it uses.

In uTorrent, Open Preferences and go to the Connection or download tab. Look for the "Maximum download rate" and "Maximum upload rate". Try turning those down a bit until you are not having any problems anymore.

You are suffering from buffer bloat.

If you take all the sand out of the box, only the cat poo will remain.

Just an issue that i didn't have until this expansion, i don't suddenly just d/c from client like this way it does.

@gfldex: So how do i fix it?
