yello, (im still newish so please bare with me)

i have joined a gr8 0.0 corp... after a couple of suicid runs through low sec to get to my new home in null, i have made my 'home clone' set to our 0.0 home now (so if i die/popped ill go there)

i have also made my first jump clone there too... BUT i couldnt make one in high sec due to the corp or alliance is disliked. it said, "because you, your corp or your alliance is dissliked by 'station', you cant creat a jump clone here" (somthing like that)

how do i get back to highsec????

If i understand it correctly, and PLEASE correct me if im wrong..., i should set my 'home clone' back in high sec.. and have a jump clone in 0.0 .. so i can jump to 0.0.. and just pop my self to get to high sec?? correct?.. not that i have a gr8 need to get to high sec yet, but jsut wondering...

Thank you for you help :)

this ^^

however what is the problem of getting there manually? You are in Shadow so use LXQ2 or L4X systems for travel. DRF 0.0 space is pretty bridged so you have no long runs there. and there is only 3-4 low-sec systems on the way to high-sec. Choose right rime, right ship and you are ok.

Very true, its relativly 'safe' run back to high sec, about 5 jumps throu low sec, but its 45 jumps to my high sec home, and i was just hopping i could jump back quickly if i fancied doing some missions or somthing., and then back again (after 24hrs)

ty for ya help March rabbit , at least you " ^^ " indicates im on the right line...

didnt know if there was another way around it.... would cost a shed load in implants and updating clones each time! lol oh well

well. you can do this way:

1. train some skill for jump clones to lvl2-3 (don't remember its name)
2. pod-express (or manually) into high-sec system you want
3. jump-clone from this system into your 0.0 station.
4. ^^^ now you have your jump clone in high-sec system ^^^

Yes, when you jump into your jump clone (in 0.0) you will leave the other clone behind - in the station you were in and regardless if the station owner likes you or not. You can then jump back and forth between both clones.

Also, this explains it in detail. Read especially the blue and red boxes about some special cases and how they are handled.

Dude, you guys gotta train your noobs about the eve-o forums... I was surprised no one had tried to convince him he could travel by biomassing.

That skill is exclusive to TEST only. They like to biomass themselves often :)

If you are gonna ask questions like this, and the forums are the only place you currently have, ask over on new citizens... You might get trolled, but not nearly as badly.

Welcome to eve, hope to shoot you soon Cool

Yeah you've got it - the only down side is that if you went to 0.0 in your clone with the implants, you can't use this method to get back to high sec without losing your implants. You'd have to first jump into your null sec jump clone, THEN self destruct your pod to end up in your high sec "home station". But in this case your implants would stay with your "null" clone.

Managing clones is not that hard once you get used to it. Eventually if you stay in null long enough you'll lose your good implants anyway, so it becomes even easier...Big smile

very very very silly question... (not to me thou.. lol)

but, wot if iv gone back to high sec, and jumped to my clone in null... (and iv set my home to null sec) what if i get popped in null sec in my jump clone? do i go to my 'main medical clone' in high sec, or the 'home' in null sec? (that make sence?)

You will wake up in whatever Station you had set as medical station to wake up.

Your Jump Clones will stay wherever they are, they wont be activated by becoming a corpse in outer space.

There is no "main medical clone" or whatever, there are just clones you can place wherever you want, and activate by clonejump. If you die with any one of those, you will start over with a fresh one in whatever station your medical station is.

Dont forget to upgrade your clone to the apropriate skill level whenever you die though.

That's the best way to make jumpclones...screw the standing grind.
Otherwise, just don't use implant and take always the pod express.
