Where is the config file or whatever that i need to copy over to my other account so i don't have to set every window up again?

Been awhile but i could have sworn you export it to a file from within the overview settings themselves.

If anyone ever looks at you and says,_ "Hold my beer, watch this,"_  you're probably going to want to pay attention.

I know there is that one, but after each patch there are all these ppl saying how easy it is to just copy supposedly "a single file" that one can copy that saves pretty much all of the GUI settings (window sizes/positions) and such...just wondering if any of the enlightened would like to share where this magic file is located...

Windows 7 location:
c:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\i_program_files_ccp_eve_tranquility\settings
My eve is on I: drive, just for the record....at least this copy is.

The file for your pilot would be "core_char_xxxxxxxx.dat" x - numbers.
Lets say your main is "core_char_11111111.dat", wanna transfer all windows settings to another char, just replace the numbers with the ID number of new char -> core_char_22222222.dat
And that's about it...

P.S. - backup the file first so you keep the original pilot settings.

How can i match the files / ids with the actual character?
I've about 15 files for my characters, but just one with my actual UI settings. (Cyno alts are bad)

I was looking at that too, as i have 8, and seems to be the larger it is, the more often it is used, i think i've narrowed down which one is my main, by opening the files in notepad, and browsing through it for any helpful info. It seems to pretty much keep a record of anything you've ever done in that file..missions included...

But its harder to tell the other accounts that aren't used much (on this PC) apart...

Last char loaded is usually the last file used in that folder, if you sort by date.

Hint for finding out your char ID.
See your char picture here? Right click and "show/view image"
You get the link "https://image.eveonline.com/Character/828581646_128.jpg"

So for Panhead4411, ID would be "828581646" (128 is pic size so ignore it)
For Luba Cibre "https://image.eveonline.com/Character/91398593_128.jpg"

You can go to acc. management page, log in your account, and do the same thing for each chars picture to find their ID number. Its that easy. :)
