one thing thats been bothering me for a while, is when you look at someones employment history there's nothing to show you that the char has at any stage changed hands via the char- bazzar. and well some people buy use and then sell chars after doing somewhat unsavory things ie scamming, corp theft etc etc, then sell the alt on the char bazzar, new owner then gets it in neck from others beliving it to still be the same PLAYER etc.

the suggestion is for on the employment history every time the char gets sold have something like "Concord mental reeducation Bureau" as an entry to show ingame that the char has been sold on the character bazzar, cause lets face it if you've just lost 2 bil+ of assets/isk etc to a "assets relocation expert" aka scammer, are you really going to them when they say "I bought the char on the character bazzar..." having a simple entry on the employment history shows straight off the bat the char HAS BEEN sold on the char bazzar but doesn't reveal from who to who etc and saves anyone who does buy a char thats been used in that kinda scheme/purpose a lot of grief from the last players actions with that character.

I will admit that some indicator of the fact that it was sold and the date of the transfer definitely wouldn't be a bad thing at all. Sounds like a simple and fairly clean way to indicate that.

If you believe that an entry in the characters history saying it has been transfered means the char is now 'safe' then you are seriouisly going to be scammed a lot more often.

All your proposal would mean is that scammers could 'launder' their characters, and claim they are now inocent.

I guess I dont really oppose your idea, would be interesting to see how often and when a char is transfered, but a known scammer will always be a known scammer to me, however many times it is 'sold'.

If an innocent player buys a scamming character, then it sucks to be them for not doing enough research before buying!

Whilst it doesn't in any way clear the character's negative reputation - it does allow someone to check if a known positive reputation is still valid.
Also it would let you see how much character trade is going on, etc. Interesting information and useful for a corp to know.

I can't "Like" this more than once, so have some more visibility.

Remove character bazaar. Problem solved. Really, it's just pay-to-win, which is ******** and will slowly kill the meaning of having a well trained char...
