how do i access Corp hanger on my carrier?

How does my 1st account access the corp hanger in my other account's carrier?

1. Both characters are in same corp
2. Personal standings set to +5 on both characters, manually.
3. carrier pilot sets permission to fleet members by right clicking capacitor and clicking that stupid box.
4. 1st character at 0km of the carrier.

When I click to open the corporate hanger of the carrier to give/take away, its says I don't have permission.

What am I missing?

Your alt doesn't have the right Corp roles to access the hanger. Your main can access it while piloting the ship, but unless he has roles in the corp too, he wouldn't be able to access the corp hanger otherwise. One exception... your alt can place things in the hanger but can't see/remove them unless he gets roles.

How do I give my alt and main corp roles?

Are you saying I have to bug my ceo about this ? That I have to bug him to give my characters roles so I do trade things in space?

If you want your alt be able to move things out of the Corp Hanger you're going to need to talk to your CEO or one of the directors. However, it's not all that bad. Your alt can put things into the Corp Hanger, even though he can't see the contents of the hanger. If you need to pass things to him from the hanger the only other way is to Jettison and have him pick it up.

You need Query and Take on "Other". This also grants access to POS array and all ship based corporate hangars.

I still want to be able to set my carrier as a my 'Based at'. Hell, allowing POS arrays and Ships to be set that way would resolve SO many potential security issues and headaches for CEOs.

Yes, you have to poke your CEO / Directors to give your alt appropiate roles to acces 1 or more tabs in hangars. Point of concern to them is that giving you that acces means you can also acces any corp hangar array that is classed as 'other', meaning POS hangar arrays and certain hangars at office stations. This means they might reject it for security reasons or only give acces to 1 tab.
