I remember having a 7 minute DT. It may have even been quicker since I waited for EVEMon to tell me that the server was back up.

About 2 weeks ago they hit 4 minutes....I believe it was Chribba who commented as well, but I may be wrong.

And here was me thinking downtime was the 23 hours that the Mrs wasn't watching East Enders...

It'd be sad if I was a Pom... It's worse that I'm from the antipodes...

While the official downtime window is 30 minutes (from 11:00 - 11:30 GMT) then downtime these days is approx. 9 minutes and 30 seconds if we are not doing any maintenance. We are aiming to reduce that number even further.

You really don't give people very long to take care of any non-EVE related affairs these days.

So in average we're getting 20 min 30 seconds more playtime than we should? That is OUTRAGEOUS, I DEMAND TO PAY MORE!

Can it be made clearer whether or not any maintenance needs to be done on a given downtime? It would mean that people would hang around for DTs that are more likely to be short, and thus less disruptive...

Back in my day, we had downtime for an hour. And we appreciated it! Not like these ungrateful downtimees nowadays...

I seem to think there has been an instance or two of no down time at all? I think this was 2004 era, waiting around and it just never happened.

Although I could be crazy, day light savings time or something.

I've raised concerns on several occasions the effect a drastically reduced downtime might have on personal hygiene. Maybe we should start selling EVE branded cleaning wipes from the store?
