Wow, you guys are great. Came to think about SImpsons characters in Eve- and almost every archetype is here:

1. Comic book guy: "Worst fit evar..."
2. Mr. Burns: diabolical, ruthless schemer
3. Barney Gumble: only goes on roams when he is so drunk that he is close to passing out
4. Waylon Smithers: The loyal employee who has homoerotic fantasies about his alliance leader
5. Lisa Simpson: The spreadsheet nerd that nobody likes
6. Bart Simpson: mischievous litle punk that only wants to make other's lives miserable
7. Principal Skinner: the humorless guy who thinks that Eve is serious business and highsec ganking a punishable crime
8. Bumblebee Man: The guy who spams local in a language that you can't even identify


I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

EVE isnt american enough to be put on for these advertisement locations. I really wouldn't know where CCP would choose to advertise at.

They once did a whole episode on mmo addiction with Age of Conan. And the fact that the boys are physicists, engineers and astronomers, its very plausible that they would be interested EvE.

Age of Conan was a major epic fail too which makes it even funnier that they would even use that game as an example lol

I wonder how much it would cost to have an eve ship model like the raven on the shelfs behind the action, if writing it in or waring a t short is super expensive... :)

That show caters to the basement dwelling, school ditching neckbeards (hormone bombs/WoW suckers) whereas a show like Simpson's caters to the mature teen/childish adult who knows that life requires one to have tongue in cheek 99% of the time.

Eve wants the latter, not the former .. it is serious business after all!

I still can't find a playstyle to match Krusty, Milhouse or Chief Wiggum...

Any ideas?
