what kind of rare items can you get from a 10/10 complex and how many?

This is true. But a more complete answer would be that 10/10s are the sole source for X-type deadspace mods. And that whether you get them and how many you get... is random.

I've ran a bunch of 10/10s and all I have to show for it are a bunch of t2 salvage and drone mins lol..

so it's a 50% chance ill get something. So would you guys recommend taking one of these on with a group or do you think i could solo it with a tengu or somethin?

I tried a 10/10 solo in a tengu before... Not enough dps to kill the drone hive mother in the last room. I can only speak for the 10/10s in drone regions.

They drop x-type and faction BS BPC(unless it's drones) and you'd never get 2 of same item in one drop.
Some say theoretically getting every single item on loot list in one drop is possible but I haven't seen anyone get more then 4 items in quite large set of results.
Getting nothing happens lot more often than getting 4, average seems to be between 1 and 2 items

You should take it on in the biggest and most expensive ship you have, but make sure you solo it so you get all the loot yourself; the more valuable your ship and fittings, the better your chances for good loot. And yelling "Leroy Jenkins" as you activate the acceleration gate will double all of the loot you get, it's a verified fact (you have to hold the yell the entire time 'till you land on grid though, otherwise it does nothing).

I've run "The Maze", the gurista 10/10 and arguably the hardest 10/10 site in the game many times. The drops so far for me range in value from 0 isk (nothing good), to just over 6 Billion isk (best drop, Rattlesnake BPC and I think 4-5 X/A type mods).

The average for me is around 1.5B isk per run, including the 0 isk runs. I generally run with myself, and at least 1 or 2 other people and split the rewards accordingly. so my personal average payout per run is closer to about 600-750m isk. When I was running them I would get the 10/10 sites about once every 7-10 days. I'd get the 6/10 2-3 times a day if I was really scanning hard, and it's got the potential to drop A-Type loot and the occational BS BPC. I can make more from one run of a 10/10 obviously, but over time, it's more profitable to solo-run 6/10's

My suggestion is that if you don't have trusted people to help you run the 10/10 sites, or a really well tanked Tengu, leave them alone and stick to the 6-8/10 sites. In the end the quantity of the lower lvl sites trumps the quality of the 10/10's Though, it's fun to smash a 10/10 every once in a while.

Not sure about you getting a BS BPC in a 6/10.....

Anyway, 6/10's are the way to go to make ISK. 7 & 8's are pretty bad because you get large C & B type modules which generally don't sell for a lot. The big bucks are for the A-Type (9/10) and X-Type (10/10).

The reason 6/10's are so good is that they're plentiful and they drop medium A-Type modules. The following are worth a LOT:

A-Type Medium Shield Boosters
A-Type Medium Armour Repairers
A-Type EANM's
A-Type Invulnerability fields

It's actually pretty crazy that easy plexes (6/10's are generally worth more than the 7, 8 and maybe 9/10 plexes. With the 7, 8 & 9 plexes you're hoping for a BS BPC for the big money (excluding Rattlesnake!)

EDIT: To emphasise how the loot tables are screwed, I'd rather do a Guristas 4/10 than a Guristas 7/10.

First off, that's a drone site (which are rarely worth running to begin with in my experience). Second, that's a 5/10, not a 10/10 (which are what the question is about). And third, if the loot isn't randomized, then there's something broken (and if it's only somewhat consistent, then that's still randomized).
