As the subject states, the Badger Mk 2 has a silly amount of base CPU at 1,000, which increases to 1,250 if you have Electronics lvl 5.

Is there absolutely any possible way use up that CPU in a fitting? If not, then why did CCP give the Badger and it other racial counterparts such large CPUs?

Your suggestions please Big smile This is not a 100% serious thread Big smile

CCP back in the day planned ot have haulers as platnforms a bit like what became of the rorqual, they invisioned modules massivlly dependant on cpu that would process ore in the belt and that sort of thing.

Needless tosay they went another route and since haulers arnt over powered with it they just left it like it :)

We could link the cpu's of multiple badgers and make a BADGER SUPERCOMPUTER!.

They could link up like Voltron!

to be more precise, industrials were supposed to act like mobile refineries.

you can fit it to use as much CPU as possible with dronerigs and hit somewhere about 950 CPU used off 1070
But it wouldnt be good for anything but getting ganked, so no, you can not use all that CPU for anything that isnt just a waste of isk.

Closest as I have come to using all the CPU without going over.

I think you can go over by trying to fit a Cov Ops Cloak. I heard they can be put on any Ship but none of them have the CPU to activate them. I could be wrong though.

I wouldn't worry about filling the CPU quota, focus on making the bestest Battle Badger ever: Lots o' ECM / Shield mods.

I'll be damned if I cannot remember who did this, but on the Akkio/EOA gate a corp used to show up with 30+ industrials and gatecamp that SOB. Everyone had to fit a gun up top obviously and it was EWAR overkill. Lots of ECM, points, webs, warp bubbles, etc. Funny as all hell to see.
