There is a video of a hilmar interview, where he was asked about EVE's financial life and he said they were doing well even with the downturn of the economies.

The cut does kind of make sense with incarna not expanding fast and the vampire game might not expand fast then. If those things aren't expanding fast, why work on them so much.

Also CCP realies on the tech and stuff for that and has to wait for it to develop and stuff. Like time dilation could get better with better tech, but if tech or so is bad, people working on time dilation could get cut and lose a job or so.

Not trying to be a conspiracy theory type of person here at all, but, would you really expect the CEO of a company to come out in public and say that they're doing poorly? During the entire "monoclegate" fiasco, the public was made aware of leaked invoices from creditors and that is what I am referencing.

damn, I see my spy job isnt as good as your spy job. Didnt know about the invoices from creditors. (if you could mind giving a link to them?) Also yeah it propably was hard for the company during that time, but also wanted to shed light on other matters then just money ones. (Sadly the only leaked memo I saw in monoclegate, is the one of Hilmar bragging about the sales of monocles and how much a success it all was)

I like how Xen thinks he understands the inner workings of businesses, w/o having hardly worked for any.

I also like the total lack of critical thinking skills. Sure, he can critique the ideas of others, but it's quite clear that none of that was ever applied to his own.

I mean, sure, he thinks of ideas. But he never stopped to think... "Hmm, now what are some reasons NOT to do these things? How many players would actually care or appreciate these changes? Is this a wise use of a limited amount of resources? Are there any better things these people could do with their time?"

Meanwhile, for this utopia of a game he has planned, he'd have CCP spend a few dozen hours on coding handicapped ramps on all the stations, because it's not fair that people with disabilities can't get in the station! Oh, there's no options to create a character who can't walk?

Current Problems with EVE:
Outfits are gender specific
Secondary sex characteristics are gender specific
There are only 2 gender options
Hairstyles are gender specific
Makeup is gender specific


You get the idea.

This needs to be fixed.


Interesting. I've heard no one else having these issues. You're the first. How is this an issue if one person has a problem with it? You're pointlessly stirring up trouble. I'll continue to support the goons because they want real fixes to the game, not to play barbies online. As has been pointed out by someone else, you clearly don't actually care about the game if that's your entire platform.

How about getting them to fix real problems before your allegedly critical ones? I think I can safely say this for a lot of people: We're here to play internet spaceships, and again, spaceships have no gender.

I am not referring to fan art. I am referring to the canon lore of the games. You obviously have not played the games or read the books, because if you did and you actually paid attention you would know that the asari are hermaphroditic and reproduce by means of parthenogenesis.

At least BioWare didn't immediately kill off their famous voice actor, unlike Bethesda. I'm looking at you, Captain/Emperor Jean-Luc/Uriel Picard/Septim.
