After a lot of digging, frustration (because i'm affected by the crashes too) and learning some new wizardry, I'm optimistic (but not certain) that some crashes for the mac client, will be fixed on Singularity tomorrow.

It would help me greatly if some of you could login on SiSi after it's next update and let me know if the client stability has improved.

I'll post an update if I find anymore improvements that have been made on this issue.

Please tell us when the update is available, so we do not do 2 downloads.

Thanks for you effort on this.

Don't underestimate the power of devs playing the game, even if they're Macheads ;)

I don't play on a Mac, but I can't say anything but thank you to the devs that give this kind of attention.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

The update should be on singularity now. *crosses fingers*

Update: Some preliminary testing shows promising results. I'm working on the freeze issue now.

Just tested it. I can make the TQ build crash on command: Just set graphics to "Quality", undock, fly to another station and dock (CQ on). It was that way with 1.1.2, still is with 1.1.3 and is that way with the present Sisi build. The crashes come with an error, unhandled page fault access at 0x0000000, followed by buffer overflow.

If I leave the graphics on "performance" I almost never have an issue (maybe once for every 30 hours of on-line time on TQ. Have not spent that much time on Sisi).

Froze up again twice yesterday in space (during aligning). Tranquility. Don't know if I imagined it, but the comp. seemed to heat up more then before... Not very helpful, I know, just let you know that it still freezes up (as the latest patch notes said it would for some).

It seems that BitTorrent client seems to act as a fast route to freezing eve client for me. Closing down all applications in force quit menu, so it's just eve running makes a difference, makes Eve more playable. Still get occasional freezing though. frequency is

immediate - 20 minutes with bitTorrent open.

2 mins - 1 hour with microsoft office for mac applications running.

1 hour - never with all applications closed.
