Being the paranoid SoB that I am, I checked the forums for an obvious answer, but couldn't find one, so I'm posting this here to cover my butt and possibly inform other new players.

Bob is always present, watching you traverse space accessable only though wormholes. He is the constant reminder that there is always someone watching you, waiting for your moment of weakness to appear and claim his toll for collecting the bounty of his realm.

Did you contact either of the email addresses specified?

CCP have been pretty aggressive about surveying people to figure out why people start playing, why they stop playing, why they keep playing, etc. There's no reason to suspect that this is not legitimate.

I would participate based on what you've shown there. Just go in with your eyes open, only answer questions about the game, not about your account name or password :)

Looks legit. They've used that service before and they do send out trials now and then.
