Someone who actively encouraged botting to make CCP take notice of it? And is paranoid to the point of lashing out at public figures simply to massage his own ego? No thanks.

This guy is probably one of the most dedicated people to ever play the game. His knowledge of game mechanics and issues related to 0.0 and Empire are unsurpassed.

My vote goes to Riverini because he has all of our best interests in mind and not just trying to ruin the game like the Mitani has been doing…..Straight

Anyone who manages to become the target of so many attacks and inspiration for such vintage whine is worth voting for.

Ahah.

This is all the arguments I needed to muster against this ridiculous claim in order to obliterate it.

If there's one thing Snot Shot and Riverini have in common it's unbiased reporting.

Also, Malcanis has my vote in terms of INIT. potential CSMs.

Just kidding, I'll probably vote for Mittens. The sheer amount of butthurt, tears and more generally whiny claims brings me to this conclusion.

I like Chaos. I like Dynamite too. And gunpowder.

Riverini, first thanks for all you have done. I check evenews24 at least once a day for my eve news fix. I like your ideas for improving the game. You have my likes. It is clear you have given this a lot of thought. I am sure you have the knowledge needed to get your point across to the masses as well as CCP. I am wondering though if you want what is best for the game could you use evenews24 to help get the ideas of other CSM candadates out here for us all? If they all had a voice we would be able to choose the one we think has the best ideas and the ability to make our voices heard at CCP. You have due to your dedication and hard work put yourself in a position to make this happen. I'm sure you could think of a way to make this work out if you wanted too and were able. Thanks for your time.

EDIT: O wait you already have interviews with CSM on your site. You thought of everything.Idea

Posting to state obvious: Riverini is a tool.

Also, forum needs dislike button.

Or maybe "do not want" button. Preferably with an emoticon too.

I second that morons like him on the CSM not thanks and if the only item on his "agenda" is botting that's not enough at least in my book.

WAR ON BOTS

I have been one of the staunchest opponents to the ever growing botting and RMT situation. To me botting is the single most dangerous threat to EVE Online as a game. I know this, CCP knows this, and you know this. Why isn’t more being done to cope with this issue? That’s one of the issues what I intend to investigate and to propose solutions for.

Prior to the Crucible release, I prepared what could have been the biggest bombshell to EVE Online: an almost risk free botting guide. Due to the fact that I listened to my readers and collaborator’s advice and the great job CCP Games did with the Crucible expansion, I chose not to release it. In the process of working on this six article exposé I learned vast ways on how the botting trade goes untouched. ‘Know-how’ I intend to use as in-game expertise to get this issue addressed.

Make no mistake, with the issue of botting there are no silver bullets, only best practices to diminish how widespread this issue is.

Those guides were never made public. Even I have limits on what I can and can't do for Eve News24. Make no mistake, post-Crucible; I have so much love for Eve Online I don't regret not making that hard work public.

What a total load of rubbish!! Part one of these guides WAS made public.

Part one was online for a least a couple of weeks before you pulled it down (presumably due to external pressure).

And now you expect the player to vote for you, after blatantly lying to them!?

I will not publish a link to it here, but suffice to say it is trivial to find a mirror copy of it given 5 minutes, half a brain, and google.

All the complaining Goons just want to safe their Mittens' CEO-seat.

You dont have to be a goon to know Mittens understands what EvE needs to make it fun again where as Riverini just knows how to blow hot air and impress the uninformed. -1 for Riverini and long live freedom , chaos and pew.

An idea for Null Sec:

Allow Sov Holding Alliances to lease "Systems" to renter alliances. This would introduce revenue generation at the alliance level and new meta-game options for players.

Thanks.

I am curious about your candidacy however before I can support you (Or anyone) I need to know some things.

#1 What is your thoughts about incursions? Will you be pro grouping in hisec and only suggest changes that can benefit the fun experience (More sites, Better pay for the large Assault and HQ groups) Or join the rather clueless brigade that wants them nerfed because it competes with the BS known as nullsec CTAs? Considering the hostility shown by several CSM candidates I consider this my #1 issue

#2 What will you say about AFK cloaking and other aspects that benefit only the big alliances wanting to drive out the small? Will you support the removal of moon mining with focus sifting on members ratting for said materials? How would you balance hotdropping?

#3 Do you support the modular POS and corp system and other efforts to lower the risk of spiez giving smaller corps a chance to flourish and give better roles? What can be done to help smaller corps?

#4 Do you support the idea that CCP should tell major changes (Drake nerf for one) to the players directly first rather than waiting to spring it on the CSM that is usually from one type of play in the game?
