i've tried dragging the security penalty slider around and it doesnt seem to do anything.

Is it possible to only avoid 1.0 and 0.9 security systems? (My alt has -2.6 security rating)

I guess just try setting those individual systems to be avoided. You should be able to mouse over them in the list to see their names and security (I'm in a WH atm so I can't verify) and each square should be a fully functioning button letting you right click and avoid it directly =D

Tip: The small squares that represent the route can be dragged into a chat to insta-link them.

i tried that, i have a 15 jump route with one single 0.9 sec system in it...
i added it to avoid list and 2 more 0.9's popped up in its place... lol

theres gotta be a way to do this without adding 10 systems to my avoid list

there is indeed a path in highsec while avoiding 0.9+, but it seems to just want to stuff me through 0.9+ to make the route shorter anyway

I'm thinking the only solution is hauler alts -_-

First of all, the SAFER function on the autopilot actually takes you through the high-sec sytems and avoid low-sec, so no matter how you slide that slider, it will always pick high-sec (including 0.9 and 1.0 systems) the only thing it does is avoid systems on the buttom end of the range (0.1 - 0.7 etc).

So only way to avoid this if you ganked to many people and have negative sec standings is using manual pilot skills and for instance dotlan to plot courses.

Use dotlan or Ombrey maps and simply work out the route manually (you can use the autopilot as a rough guide).

Or, yup, just avoid all the 0.9/1.0 space until you get an AP list with none on. What you can't tell by doing this is whether it is even possible to get to your destination without passing 0.9/1.0 space.

Otherwise 2 or 3 hours of hopping about some quiet NPC nullsec and you'll easily get above -2 plus some wiggle room.

I'm confused when did 1.0 and 0.9 become safe space Roll?

Dunno. I'm scared of anything .5 and above, especially those nasty concord owned systems.

Try putting AP on shorter and avoid the non-high sec maybe?

The slider only affects how many systems are you willing to detour before AP takes you through system that you don't want to go through. easiest method for you might be to set ap to prefer low sec abd then either add lowsec constellations along your route to avoidance list and/or set the lowsec entrance systems to your avoid list
