I remember the good old days of Unreal Tournament.

When I was downtown crossing large intersections I used to look up and think "Man gotta watch for snipers"...

I haven't had any EvE related nightmares yet...but...I have had "hallucinations" while driving related to games.

I was driving down the road one day back when I played Asherons Call. I could have sworn this fat guy on the side of the road was a rock golem. For those of you that have played Asherons Call you would understand why that might freak someone out.

The worst case was when I was driving to work early in the morning after it had rained that night. It was dark outside and as I was going through an intersection the light from a few different sources reflected off a pool of water in the street in a way that out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw a zombie running at me. It actually made me step on the gas for just a second before I realized that I was, in fact, in reality. I stopped playing L4D2 for a month after that.

A few months ago I dreamt that I awoke and switched the TV on only to find every news channel aflame with reports of alien sightings and there were shakily taken photographs of gallente ships in the sky over major cities a la' Independance Day/District 9/ V The Visitors

I then freaked out and thought oh my god the game has become REAL LIFE what the F is going on here?! good thing I trained up sufficient skills to pvp in minmatar and caldari ships though, I'll be one of the survivors for sure

Then I woke up and was totally disappointed

Just tonight I dreamt that I logged in sitting in my Tengu and warping to planet one when I realized that my alliances POSes were all red and shot me in no time and the dudes in my corp channel laughed their asses off. I was really pissed and then someone sent me 13b ISK. Next thing I remember was that I was in a Rifter driving on the highway (Yes. With a Rifter) to Jita to buy a new Tengu.
Then I woke up.

What the hell, EvE..
