It's valentine day, so people might have other things to do besides posting. I'm also guessing it might be partly because people who aren't in to the series don't care and many who are don't need or want to play the demo, since they are getting the game anyway and don't want to spoil anything.

Resident Haruhiist since December 2008.

Laying claim to Out of Pod Experience since 2007, plain and simple. Keep the trash out of Out Of Pod Experience, If it's EVE Related or deserves a Lock, it does not belong here.

It's very tempting to download the demo, but I think I'm going to tough it out and wait for the full thing so I'll be able to enjoy every bit of it rather than get pissed off at the content suddenly being cut off :P

The demo doesn't give too much away, no more than the trailers anyway.

The multiplayer aspect is pretty fun though and seeing as it's only the survival rounds they've put in, there is no spoilers contained.

I'm just hoping they carry over the multiplayer characters over to the full version.

In that case I'll stick with waiting for the full thing, then I can get appropriately giddy when I install it :D

I remember downloading the Dragon Age 2 demo, such a waste of space :(

1. It's a demo. Who cares. We know how it's supposed to play already. We've been inundated with that for the past oh-I-don't-know-how-many months already.

2. It's EA more than it's Bioware by this point. I'm not giving them any satisfaction for their lousy overhype tactics.

3. I never cared much for the combat in the ME series (or the first/third person combat in other games in general). I personally want to go through the storyline (hardly something I'd get from a demo), but I heard the one in ME3 is a doozy, much more than in any of the previous ones. I'll still play it though though, since, eh, why not. But not on launch day or anywhere close to it. A few months down the line, half a year, maybe even longer, AFTER they come out with a few major DLCs, or maybe I'll even wait until after ALL the major DLCs are out.

4. The femshep in that trailer looks... meh. I heard about the so-called "election" for the femshep figure, but that one doesn't quite look like the one that was chosen. Also, *my* femshep looks a lot better in ME2 already, let alone what you are supposed to be able to do with it in ME3. Why they didn't polish her a bit more for that trailer is a mystery. Oh, wait, not a mystery - they just don't care.

My four cents.

Ignoring everything ME3 related untill release.

Playing through 1 and 2 again to refresh my memory and prep a new infiltrator, already got a soldier waiting.

If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all...
