We all know what THE Titan fix should be...
lets just +rep the fraking **** out of this post to make this happen

Remove:
Quote:
"Immunity to all forms of Electronic Warfare" bonus

Add:
Quote:
" +20 warp strength" bonus (or 30 something like that)

This will allow other ships to tracking disrupt Titans and Titans can counter this by bringing
friends with remote tracking. And by adding the warp strength Titans still can't be pointed by a single frig and
bubbles are preferred for this task. However a group of ships could point the Titan...

Thanks in advance

(could also by applied to supers, but that is another discussion)

Yes we know it and yes we want it and its been discused here over and over. Why you start new threat instead of posting in one of the old ones?

Also to add to your not-so-great idea, ewar immunity is more than just warp-disrupt imunity. Soo how about think over other things (like tracking disruptors/enhancers), before you post.

CCP really please dont use Upgraded, Limited, Experimental and Prototype in item names. It sounds like the item is actually worse than basic meta 1 item. Use Calibrated, Enhanced, Optimized and Upgraded. Its really easy to understand that the item is better than meta 1 and its also in alphabetic order.

Because I like posting new threads... and apparently CCP doesn't get it yet...

lol, did you really just say that? Ernm... that is kinda of the whole idea of this "fix"?
The problem with Titans is the tracking, so allowing Tracking disruption will fix that?

Sry didnt read that normal text under bad use of quotes. Maybe you could format your's posts like normal people do?

Quoting is the best way!

Just keep the discussion about the damn Titans, not my topic makeup... thanks

i think a something that is more of a trap type of thing that makes a titan vulnerable.

an anchorable cloaked bubble that activates if a super cap comes close
something that can easily be destroyed by Small drones or small ships

An warp scram module can only be fit on T2 Ewar Frigates that works on Super Caps
Super caps should never have the ability to hit Frigate requiring support to function correctly.
(in the circle of life bigger is better till you become too big and you can't defend your self against the microscopic.)

A suicide shuttle that when hitting a Capital or Super capital does substantial damage to a large target, leaving only a pod behind. - Back to the carrier for another ship!- Just hope I don't get podded along the way.!

When dust comes out - allow frigates to plant Dust mercs on the Titan and battle it out trying to destroy the titan from the inside out. - Titan pilot - get them out of me!! get them out of me!!!! HELP!!

Someday I will have the time to play. For now it is mining afk in High sec. In Cheap ships

Pfff...

The thing I am trying to say is this;

Titan have to much tracking at the moment. They track everything from frigates to Battleships.... This needs fixing

So THE solution is to remove the immunity from Titans so hostiles ship can Tracking Disrupt it, so make
its tracking go bad. Titans can somewhat counter this to bring support fleets with remote tracking, but it is going to be
a hard thing to completely counter the disruptor effect.

Now comes the hard part you people dont seem to get :)
If you remove the 'Electronic Warfare Immunity' from Titans that whould mean a Titan can be pointed by
any simple warpdisruptor and that should not be possible. But to compensate for this, you give the Titan a warp strenght bonus.

So I am not suggesting any new way to point down Titans, I am suggesting a way to make tracking disruption possible
and giving Titans back warp strenght compensates for that.

You realize 20 is a pretty low number, right?

Anyway if you really hate gank fitted titans that much, wouldn't giving them an extra stacking penalty for tracking mods be a better way to go about nerfing them?

Not that I really have any opinion either way on titan tracking, just seems a better way to deal with it if you want to discourage that style of play.

I've mentioned this in a couple of other threads recently, but the fix to Titans isn't to change it's attributes. The fix to titans is to fix how long it takes to make one.

IIRC you can make them in about 3 months but that number should be 5x that if one takes into account what it can do relative to other capital ships.

I'm sure CCP realises this mistake by now but are probably slow to do the right thing because it will give the RMT Russians (the holders of most titans) an even greater advantage than they already have. That said, the solution to dealing with the over-proliferation of the things might be to simply implement better monitoring of macro-ratting/mining and to "delete" all titans that were created by resources (money/minerals) related to known (or obvious) macros. If they did a right-proper job of getting to the bottom of where most titans came from then probably 1/2 of the ones in the game could be deleted by the end of next week.
