I checked last year and found you could charter a private jet from Boston for a little under $50k. Seats 20.

So like since the legal drinking age is 18 in Sweden (where I live)... and I turn 20 one month after fanfest is done, maybe one of the devs can sneak me some sort of drinking pass from under the table if I polish his/her pod? Roll

not sure me and the missus will attend next years fanfest unless 2 conditions are met . 1 ccp devs attend ALL the round tables as they didnt last fanfest (not suggesting a ccp employee who works in hr should attend a faction warfare round table as this would be stupid )

2 I want a clear and transparent explanation as to how ccp are takeing the game forward . i dont want to come away from what is a very expensive weekend away for myself and my wife full of hope for the future of the game i love and for the most part is my main hobby . only to get home to find her himler is advocating us all spending xxxx thousands on japanese jeans and wotnot .

i think essentially all im asking for is a little bit of transparency . essentially for all eve players going to iceland it should be on 1 of your 10 lists of things to do before you die its such a fantastic place to visit .imo its prolly the nearest alien world one will ever visit without leaving the planet . and the fanfest is bloody good fun aswell .plus ....... theres loads of bloody icelandic hotties to oggle ... but dont tell my missus Blink

The best part of fanfest was the expression on your face as you sobered up in the lobby just before shipping out man. It was the ultimate Schadenfreude moment.

edit: for those asking about pricing, I reckon I went the week on about $1300 or so, not including optional extras like tattoos :P

I guess my only question is what would be the aurum price to put Hilmar up on a stool and throw custard pies at him. CCP could make a fortune. Monocle income would look like chump change.

We would even be happy if he wore cheap jeans for it.

With all the unsubbing that has allegedly taken place, the Fanfest should be an event of mass, real-life PvP.......

Wish I could attend but it's simply too expensive for me. South Africa is not known for (a) strong monetary unit and (b) cheap air flights. Fail on both counts Ugh

I hope to see pics posted during and after the event!!
