Disclaimer:
This is a reworked version of the video, I decided to cut out some footage that wasn't truly worth sharing.

Do not let some of the topic replies discourage you from watching it. I accepted what's been said and this is the result of it - And if you watched it, give it another shot, will you?

Also, the pace is rather slow compared to your standard EVE videos. I don't have a lot of footage and I didn't want the vide to be 4 minutes long, thus the fights are running at 140% speed. You can enjoy the music now! Plus some new (newer than me, that is) pilots might learn a thing or two from it (maaaybeee).

I want to present you my first EVE Online video.

It consists of frigate focused solo PVP in the less secure heart of Molden Heath region.
Ships used were exclusively Rifters against Rifters, with the exception of a duel between two Republic Fleet Firetails at the end.

I was enjoying it until you started using racial ECM in 1v1's.

+1 for solo frigates and close fights.

-1 for fitting racial ecm's in a 1v1. Seriously, that's really cheap and it turns the fight into a game of chance rather than a contest of skill, so stop it.

Also next time I would suggest speeding up most of your fights to 2x when you edit them together, it makes everything more fast paced and interesting to watch.

Overall, it was a nice first video imo. I hope to see you make more vids, next time without ecm. :P

Laktos, thank you for your input. It runs at 140% speed, but maybe it's not enough.

About ECM:
TBH I didn't expect a flood of "derp" "kkthxby" posts about two fights with ECM. After all, Firetail has one utility med slot and even then it's a pretty sub-par ship, so in order to win I wanted to try something else...

I understand what you're all saying, nonetheless the rest of the fights are IMO worth watching, even if you skip two of them.

The point is you were using racial specific, which means you've seen what your opposition is in and fitted accordingly, stick in a multi-spec if you want no (less) trolling. ECM is bad, pre-meditated racial-specific ECM is bad(der).

Have I ever stated those 2 fights were arranged 1v1s? I didn't because they weren't...

Looking at the local, the Crusader fight indeed was arranged - I apologize to the pilot for this cowardly tactic then

Really nice Rifter fights, mate!
Mine criticism is the same as Laktos´ - fights could have been more accelerated and no ECM should have been used:)

On the ECM note - ECM, racial or not is certainly not a violation of any 1v1. Its ofc pretty lame for reasons stated by Laktos, but as Endragor did not get any help from friends or gang links i consider those 1v1 valid.

Tried as hard as I could, but the racial ECM isn't very FRAPs worthy. Even if its a close fight I'm left thinking "damn, you only won by fitting for that guy".

Is it any different than using a TD riffie versus another riffie? No, but I think most people like the illusion of honour in this game.

About TD Rifter fit - I don't fly those againt just Rifters. When I roamed with this fit, I tried to engage everybody, but since it's mostly Rifter Club in there, it was hard to find anything else. I fought vs a Merlin with it and died, hehe

I didn't expect everybody to focus on just the one aspect of the video, and since I don't believe it will stop (well only after the video is long gone in history), I'm ATM in the process of rendering it again without those two fights ("fights" some might say).
I'll decide whether to swap them or keep it this way.

Pretty good watch. Best fight was against the guy who spoke all in caps. Less ecm next time
