sayin it how we use it. we've got much better words for the sort of people you call pubbies, but i don't feel like a forum ban.

And why do you use the word "pubbie" the way you do then? No, really, i'm curious.

I don't use the word pubbie. And if you ever saw us speaking with each other, you'd notice we call pretty much everyone *something* offensive.

heck, we have broadcasts reminding people which words CCP has been banning people for before ops, if we have a habit of calling the enemy of the day something on said list.

Is "groin canker" on the list? (Not calling you that, just wondering if it's on the list.)

I'd vote for Chribba. I'd also vote for Nova Fox and Jowen Datloran.

Don't know if they would be a true Representative for the High Security PvE aspect of this game.

Hmmm, now that I think about it, maybe I should run for CSM.

If Chribba has half a brain, and i think he does, he won't even bother with this for obvious reasons.

If eve had political parties segregated on how and where they play. The labor party would hang me because I will be suggesting a way of forcing them to play a much harder game, reduce thier standards of living in high sec, and overall just make thier wallets thinner.

Anyone who's kept track of all of my statements into one neat little encylopedea would definelty know that I sorta jump all over the place and even have taken up two sides of the same argument on the same thread that I started.

I'd probably be a Progressive Conservative, Keeping the feel of eve there while evolving it where it makes sense.

Also my red passport was terminated, I have to get a blue one now and don't exactly have 70$ to spare yet to get it and I dont see myself taking a week off from college to go on icelandic trips. Its the same reason I wont be at the fan fest this year either ><.

edit:

It seems that in the thread that I linked, the People have spoken up in favor of begging for likes. Please disregard my previous statement and continue to beg for likes as is your right. Lyris Nairn 2012 : Space Friend to All.

LOL, love the arguements here:

You can't have it both ways,

What the hell do you mean by saying I can't enjoy watching political pundits bloviating from both sides of their beaks?

Anyone engaging in political discourse who hasn't been for something before they were against it...or vice versa...is not only boring and not newsworthy but is also likely to have their ass handed to them at the ballot box.

Seriously, expecting consistency in election season...what's wrong with you?

On a more serious note I think Chribba would benifit the community in getting ccp to host better website services for the eve community.

Id be running for dead puppy features or 1000 papercuts and 100 gushing wounds. If I where to run but school keeping me busy so I cannot afford to do this yet. I would not be running just for high sec. Just high sec would enjoy suggestions though and concerns.

Oh no! You caught me! Checkmate! I'm so silly for letting the cat out of the bag... or maybe you're just a dumb pubbie who knows nothing.

You guys are so cute with your conspiracy theories. Firstly Test doesn't even have a CSM member (White Tree left to join ESG, 4chan's alliance). Secondly Goons and Pandemic Legion are on the CSM, massive holders of Tech moons, yet the CSM still asks CCP to address the Technetium bottleneck in T2 production thereby inevitably decreasing the value of those moons. CLEARLY IT'S ALL A CONSPIRACY.

Do you want to know why nullsec alliances (representing ~10% of the players in the game) dominate the CSM? Because it used to be run by highsec players, and during that time they got it into their sweet little pubbie heads to remove our jumpbridges because they were concerned about 'force projection'. CCP went with their requests. How quaint that they'd feel the need to dictate how nullsec should live while knowing anything about it. There was a large backlash from nullsec, and CCP compromised by allowing one jumpbridge per starsystem.

So ever since we realised that the CSM has the power to screw us over we've simply started paying attention to it, nothing more. There's no conspiracy, it's just by the nature of nullsec you have to be organized to live in it, which is why nullsec produces candidates and actually votes for them. Highsec dwellers don't need to be at all organized so they don't produce candidates and they don't vote. Ivy League is probably the largest highsec voting bloc in the game, besides maybe Red vs Blue's combined consentual PvP alliances. Ivy League used to hold CSM seats but now do they even have a candidate? I'm not aware of one.

In any case it's far more likely that someone living in nullsec has more experience of the game as a whole than someone who has never left highsec. I've never seen Chribba voice a serious opinion on gameplay before, it's ususaly "lol veldspar, mining lasers, I have mining titans, lololol I'm the nice friendly Emperor Publord of all Pubdom" - Just because you like him (or it's fashionable to like him) doesn't mean he wants to do it, or is even qualified to do it.

Nice Conspiracy Theory.

At any rate, I gave the OP a like just to spite everyone who said he was begging for likes. As for whether or not he is qualified to run, well, as far as I am concerned, the only ones qualified to run are the ones who make the game. But since that would be self-defeating, I'd rather have a guy who is neutral 100% of the time and can learn what little he doesn't know than a know-it-all with delusions of grandeur and self-entitlement.
