Maybe he represents the non-l33t WH people? I.e. the carebear corps that are in it for the space gold rather than the fun of explosions and lasers. Hard to say without a proper manifesto though.....

I really dont understand what you are trying to acheive here...

If you want wormhole space to succeed in the agendas of CCP and CSM, you will understand that we NEED a proven, reliable candidate that knows his ****. Nothing in your thread has shown me that and I have never heard of you before. Regardless of that, it does not matter...

Think about this for a second... the whole reason for our questioning is simple.

  • What do you have to offer that Two Step already hasn't got nailed down.
  • Say wormhole space has 3000(or whatever) votes, if we both vote for you and two step, neither candidates will get a full seat. This is potentially catastrophic for wormhole space.
  • If we vote for a proven track record and hard working CSM Candidate that we KNOW knows his stuff and can get stuff done. We are more likely to get a canditate on the CSM who will work hard. We have no assurances of what you can do.

We are not voting for AHARM here, We are voting for Wormhole Space. I find it highly worrying when people get pissy when they are questioned on motives for running as a WH candidate, when the only real way we can be represented safely is Two Step.

We vote for more than one WH rep, we all potentially lose.

Congrats, with an attitude like that you're never voting on anything, ever.

WH people with actual political sensibilities who aren't Objectivists or fainting, delicate flowers should back Two Step.

Correct and thanks in advance for stepping down from a non-sensical candidate selection in which you made no manifesto, imparted no goals connected with either of the parties you claim to represent and admitting to the EvE community that even your own corp and alliance won't back your candidacy which, I think, is probably the self-confessed by you nail in your electoral coffin.

Bye now.

No, it didn't elude me, sorry guess my post didn't really show that though  My post was meant to contain more scorn on carebears than came across I guess. Reading it back, my post is kinda lame actually. My bad.

Never heard of you till now mate. Heard about the Trebor guy, he used to post something in the forums here and there, but never heard of you until now. Not trying to be a d1ck or anything, just saying that I at least never even knew you existed till now at election time.

I'll agree that I am a delicate flower. I'd disagree I was an Objectivist, however we are all raised with certain Objectivist qualities in this capitalist society, something potential candidates would do well to remember.

I am actually planning to vote for you on at least one account based upon the fact I believe that that last CSM was really effective due to your leadership, and rather than caring about specific segments of the game, you seem to love giving CCP a kick up the ass and focus on its customers not itself, which in my view is what the CSM is good at.

Can I just get you to clarify that you are saying that because I am a 'WH People' you didn't need my vote anyway and I should give my vote instead to two step as it would make more sense tactically?

Perish the thought of having more that one candidate for a wormhole space representative on the CSM... What's next, a fair election process or a CSM doing what is was designed for an representing the voice of the entire community and not just that of null sec players?

It's a choice, really. Obviously, I want the votes. All of the votes.

But if you want to allocate a vote to a 'wormhole candidate', I think Two Step has proven - through his tireless efforts - that he is the one. He has established relationships with the devs and brought home results, despite being 4th alt.

If you have multiple votes, feel free to send some my way, because I can always use the power and influence that a mandate offers. I assume, however, that most people posting in WH candidate threads are primarily allocating their votes to WH candidates, as that's the simple reality of the situation 90% of the time.

I love that the first post has completely changed. Now I am apparently some sort of pawn of Mittens, and he and I came up with this dastardly plan to mess up the campaign of the fine Blackberry Bold, who just wants to bring direct democracy to the people.

At the moment There's several candidates in the pool that have less than the 100 likes.

Here's an idea.

To encourage a wide and representative shortlist and help ourselves a little into the bargain, why don't we like each other publicly with a post in each other's election post thread, and encourage others via our own posts to like the members of the sub-100 group.

This way we might all make the shortlist.

Let me know what you think about this.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. When I die, all those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

I was going to point out that Lucius Arcturus from Taggart was running, but it seems he's pulled out due to IRL issues.

I've also been told that Rooks and Kings submitted a candidate, but I cannot find his Jita Park Speakers thread. Anyone have better luck than I?

EDIT: Found it. He also seems to have a strong track record.

lol. This is why democracy-based governments are usually technically republics.

Posting a reminder to a request for your candidacy views on the following subject of Bounty Hunting

(The linked thread is a posting to maintain a holistic view of the various candidates comments and in some way to act as a foundation for discussion. It seems to have offended one candidate that linking it is in some way implies a prescriptive need to read it or post in it, this is not the intention. Such that if you have specific thoughts on the subject due to your own awareness or thoughts, I would be happy to coallate the views for you as a result)

I see Blackberry Bold has a new corp.

Can we trust in the fact that you will pay as much attention to the writing of proposals as you did to the name of your corp?

I mean Pegasis? Seriously?? Are you representing whimholers and hosec moners too?
